Recently refurbished, colorful rooms, novel room design. In the city center, tram outside. Very fine hotel. Wired internet worked well, but certain ports are blocked. I was not able to open a VPN connection and had to use the wireless service, purchased from T-Mobile. I see no reason VPN should be blocked. Someone is being too cautious at the expense of customer good will. T-Mobile costs 5.95 Euro per connection hour, minimum of 10 minutes per session. |

the staff was very helpfull and friendly. Clean. good hotel only for very short stay. only five minutes walking from the central station and the main transports. Unfortunally is very difficult to find a clean hotel in Amsterdam without to spend a fortune. No way to have air in the room from the small opening of the window. Very basic room, very small, no minibar, no air conditioning, To avoid when warm weather. If with young children, be carefull of the presence of a only for man sexy cinema and "a red light window" on the two sides of the back door entrance of the hotel. |

We arrived very early and although the website says we could check in after 3 pm we were actually allowed to check in straight away...that was a real plus because we were able to get rid of our bags and head straight out into the city. The staff were so helpful and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to other people. Location of the hotel was excellent. |

Great location, 5 mins form Central Station. Rooms small but clean. Staff very friendly and helpful...a bit pricey for the size of the room but we didn't need to use the tram as so central. |

Nice location and a good hotel. With Amsterdam standards, this should be a 4 star hotel. But book deluxe/star rooms as standard rooms are on first floor without Air conditioner (Sleep with windows open on first floor, and you feel you are on pavement). Also, there's no internet provision in these rooms. Star rooms are small (It's Amsterdam), but newly made and quite funky. |

I liked location, in the city center. Tiny room. Double room too small for the price. Eur 278 per two nights is expensive. |

The room, although not huge, was big enough for two and well layed out, the room had a nice design, was very clean and the local was great. Not being able to buy a drink (a bottle of water for instance) in the hotel late in the evening. The special rate was excellent value for money. |

Very good location, five min to Central Station or the major street Damrak and Dam Square. Cosy rooms (no-renovated) with perfect situated place for toilet/shower. Cut rate minimarkets with fresh fruits and foodstuffs on Central Station. I don't have a bad to say, everything was as I expected it to be. |

The location is great - close to station but also near sights. We had an early train the next morning so it worked out great. Though expected, room and bathroom were quite small. Also, toilet ran at least 10 minutes after each flush--just a minor irritation. |

Professional and friendly staff, great location, clean well maintained rooms and public areas and the free coffee and apples in the reception every morning. Some of the rooms are on the small side. |

Location close to train station and city centre. Noisy room. Everything happening outside the room could be heard including the lift operation! Very tiny room, with poor ergonomics. Most fittings were loose and worn. Would never stay there again. |
