The helpfulness and politeness of the staff I slept in the downstairs room which was airless, this meant that I woke with a headache and there was a musty smell to the carpets |

The valet parking was superb. I called ahead and when we arrived the car was driven away and returned when we left two days later. It completely took away the stress of driving in the city and parking. $50 euros well spent. |

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. From helping with directions to hotel to providing any other information during our stay. Basement room a little to be disired. TV and the bedside lamps did not work. |

There was only one `civil` person on reception all the others could not even reply to a good morning or good evening. Felt unwelcome No service quality to guests at all a most unpleasant stay in Amsterdam I have ever had! It would be easier to say what was acceptable and that was the bed. The room was so tiny you could not walk around the bed, no wardrobe,nothing to hang clothes on, nothing to put suitcase on but the floor and had to tread on it or over it,,no floor space, not clean please I do not normaly leave reviews but in this case you can get better value elswhere you have been warned!!!! |

Cheap & cheerful without serious compromises - miles ... I mean kilometres :) ahead of the local competition. Friendly staff, adequate breakfast, private shower & toilet, nice location without being too far from Centraal and easy to reach local attractions. Recommended :) Hardly a complaint at the price charged, but the air conditioning didn't work and the telephone system didn't allow for calls to be transferred to my room. Another point for the management to note - I thought it was a nice touch & it didn't bother me, but the cat in the dining room at breakfast time could bother some ... those people with allergies should be able to expect a stress free breakfast. |

Staff was friendly. Location. The lift did not work at first. The breakfast was sketchy especially when you consider the price charged for the room. Staff demanded that people pay up front. I had the impression that they thought that people would not stay for the full time if they did not do this. |

The location of this hotel is great, right next to Leisdeplein.. There was an extremely loud people staying at the hotel and it woke everyone up at night. Although the front desk took care of the problem, it felt like we were staying at a hostal with rowdy kids. |

realatively close, within walking distance to most sites. The stairs - OMG talk about a work out for your legs! wi-fi is advertised as available throughout the hotel however doesn't reach beyond 1st level, eaten alive by mosquitoes in our room, the double room we stayed in was quite small. |
