The New hall is very pretty,nice and confortable. Rooms and specially the bed very very confortable. Concierge was very nice. Not many hotels have a true concierge like this that when you get to the room your bags are there. a little bit of permanent noise from the water tubes in the toilet. |

Even if it's a five star hotel, it didn't seem like that (more like a 4 stars, even though good). In any case, the room was nice and the bathroom too, the location was great you can walk everywhere and is central: between the museums and the center. If you're traveling in car the parking is very expensive (30 euro per night), and is cheap for being in Amsterdam (there are other solutions but a little far away). The price of everything: as a "five" star hotel, everything was expensive: internet, minibar, etc. Just some tips: there is a McDonalds nearby with free internet, and many places also for taking a breakfast. |

The location is strategic. The floors are old fashioned and also the rooms need to be restyled urgently. Friends that had booked a triple room and had agreed on 2 queen size beds were offered a double room + camping bed. |

Quiet air conditioning. Promp response from staff regarding some problems with the room such as brocken TV remote and bathroom lights. Pillows were very uncomfortable. |

They provided free umbrellas when it was raining. The location was good for what we came to see. We had to call down to have our room cleaned because our do-not-disturb sign was up until early afternoon |

location is excellent, room is clean and wide enough. the way they use the credit card many time making block over limit access, and the way (one) of the recieption staff treat before and after i paid the amount (how to treat the guest (it was`nt my case only there was another person in the same time), at last the room is old so the room at street side is noisey. |

we stayed in a standard room then we moved to sweet. big differance. the sweet is spacious, coffe making facilitys, and it gives you a free acsess to the lounge that offers free drinks till midnight. the breakfast was very nice and included in the room charge.the hotel location is great. if u dont mind walking in the great weather, you can go everywhere on foot.they provide free ambrellas when it rained. the concerge not very friendly. not very clean, one day they fogot to empty the garbige and we had to call them back. the weight scale is not working. |
