Staff was really kind and helpfull. Many attractions within short distance.
Noice from outside was really annoying in the night time.
Free Wifi only in lobby
I would like to extent my stay for 9 hour. And they would like to charge 24 hour price for this
Rooms on the first floor are too small!
Close to lots of restaurants and museums, comfortable beds and pillows
Nice hotel, good beds
Good location, especially for visiting the Rijksmuseum and for good restaurants. Service in the hotel was good, staff were efficient, obviously well trained and very welcoming.
The room suffered from a continuous machinery noise, even when the aircon was switched off. It did disturb sleep at night - pity, because the beds were very comfortable.
Lovely room, good service
Furniture and fixtures are outdated.
Executive Lounge very poor and if you have Breakfast in the Hotel you had to pay Euro 3.-- per Person surcharge.
Location , excellent . Food , good. Comfort , good . Good hotel overall.
Informed hotel in advance of arrival it was my wife's 40 th birthday , nothing was done and no effort made . Receptionist checked us into the incorrect size room (we paid for bigger room).
Location and quality of hotel was amazing
Little bit to much up selling for my taste
Great location good food in the Grill room ground floor ,staff pleasant and keen to please. Reception normal nothing out of the ordinary . it works .
Room doors self closing and very heavy as a man you struggle to hold the door open , so doors close all night and early in the morning with a bang , to make things worth cleaning staff push their trolley into walls and doors not good if you want to get some sleep .We woke up one night 2 pm to a bang turns out the bath room ceiling collapsed , a water leak had filled the ceiling tiles with water until they could not hold the weight any more . Dirt all over our staff on the basin below , we called the staff who acknowledged but could not do much , back to bed to get some sleep .We pointed out that maybe we should not be charged for the night , noted but took some insistence on checking out to get charged one night less , with one night left we had to move to a new room nice but a pain . Cleaning staff generally need to do better in this 5 star hotel .Breakfeast chaos be on time 10 am it all disappears from under your nose very quickly and don't forget your door card to get in .
The staff at this hotel really are excellent and the General Manager should be very proud.
The noise of the City, living in the country in the UK is so much quieter, was a bit of a shock! but no real complaint just an observation
Great staff. Excellent location.
Great location, great level of cleanliness overall a very pleasant stay
We had to buy wifi which is unheard of these days !
concierge stuff . quality of sleep
time of making-up is too early
the location was great. Close to museums. Variety of restaurants within walking distance.
We stayed five nights in this hotel but our experience was a regret. On the fourth night, the air con in our room didn't work properly. The room became very stuffy that I woke up at 4:00am to open the window to let in fresh air. I need to close it again 30 min later as the street became very noisy. We requested hotel staff to fix the machine in the morning. We found the problem was still there the following night. We reflected the problem to them and they said all their rooms were occupied and couldn't arrange another room. They finally gave us a fan to use and breakfast vouchers for the next day as an act of apology. But this was not something we were looking for.... A costly yet uncomfortable stay. Definitely not worth it.
Friendly and helpful staff Good Location
No swimming pool
Service and the location
Location Staff very helpful
Rooms too slow
Very good location with easy access to museums, shops and transport. Concierges very helpful. Bar food very good. Quiet cool room even in a busy and sunny area.
The extra charge for breakfast is too much for a family - we were able to get adequate breakfast for one third of the price in local cafes. Comparable UK hotels in this price range would provide breakfast. We are now unlikely to make Marriott our first choice hotel in future. The room never seemed to be dusted and appeared grimy by end of our stay. Bar staff could have been more welcoming.
