Die Lage ist ideal und wunderschön, v.a. die Zimmer zu den Grachten hin. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Betten sind aber leider ziemlich durchgelegen, und wir hätten in unserem Zimmer gerne einen zweiten bequemen Stuhl gehabt. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach. Schade auch, dass im "Salon" kein Tee zu bekommen ist, oder auch sonst kein Getränk. |

Das Hotel hat keinen Aufzug und eine sehr steile Treppe - , wir wohnten unterm Dach und waren froh ohne grosse Koffer zu reisen. Die Zimmer zur Gracht bieten eine sehr schöne Aussicht. In der Nacht wird es jedoch, zumindest am Wochenende, recht laut.(bis morgens ca. 3 Uhr). Ruhesuchende sollten daher besser Zimmer zum Innenhof buchen. Das Hotel hat einen schönen, hellen Frühstücksraum. |

Ein kleines Hotel mit Atmosphäre direkt an der Prinzengracht, idyllisch und ruhig gelegen, dennoch nahe vom Zentrum mit Kultur, Shopping und Museen. Verwinkelte Gänge, die einen Eindruck über die traditionelle Bauweise im Grachtengürtel vermitteln. Sehr enge Gänge: fürs Gepäck schleppen mühsam. Jedoch gehört es gerade auch zur Atmosphäre dieses Hotels ! |

Located on the picturesque Prinsengracht, the Amsterdam Wiechmann Hotel is perfectly situated for a most relaxing break close enough to access the city on foot and far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. I cannot praise this hotel enough - it has all the charm of an olde world guest house but with modern comforts. The hotel is immaculately clean - spotless - and the bed and sheets were fresh white cotton. The breakfast room is very pretty, overlooking the main Prinsengracht. This really is a lovely hotel. As with many of these old townhouse hotels, as there are up to 4 flights of very steep steps to the bedrooms, I do not recommend this hotel for the elderly, infirm or children unless you can secure a ground floor room. The very steep stairs up to the bedrooms are not recommended for the elderly, infirm or small children. |

The location, the views from the hotel windows, the lovely breakfast room with the view over the canals, the very friendly, welcoming and informative staff. The stairs (mainly because my father had a knee problem), but this is a very minor point. The stairs were fine for my partner and I. |

Great part of town on Prinsengracht, 5 min walk from Spui. Charming place with original old decor and furniture in common rooms. Bedrooms were clean and new, shower in my bath needed new fixtures. Wifi worked and breakfast(included) was nice and simple. |

The hotel is excellently located, at walking distance from the main station and all city attractions, close enough to nightlife spots but yet far enough to avoid the noise. The hotel has the tipical smell of an old city house, like the one of my great-grandfather in Antwerp. |

the decor was very welcoming and the staff helpful and friendly. Also, the breakfast was excellent. the bed was slightly uncomfortable. Also, the wireless does not reach the top floors and thus one had to be in the lounge downstairs. No ability to skype since there are no cell-phone conversations in the lounge (if there is no wireless signal in the room). |

Me ha gustado la ubicación, la limpieza de la habitación, etc. Es de resaltar el hecho de que en cuanto se enciende la calefacción la habitación se calienta enseguida. Las escaleras de acceso a las habitaciones son muy verticales, pero pude constatar que en Amsterdam es habitual. |
