Good location Valet parking was convinient

Prices, first night 106 € second 199€ third and fourth night 275€ is that a good way of having customers staying long? Who designed the glass door into the toilet in the room? Same guy that came up with the red light district window shopping? Very small rooms for a 4 star hotel and two big north european people Coming back to prices for 275€ it's a bad value for money, for 106 and 199 it is OK due to location. I will most likely not use the hotel again for the above reasons and I will visit Amsterdam very regular. But then I'm a crumpy old man

It was very central and there was a lift

The location was perfect. Just a few steps to Dam Square, and another few steps to the Red Light DIstrict. There was tons of options for food, including a historic resturaunt right in the hotel. Behind the room was a shopping plaza with everything you can think of to buy. The room was loaded with a mini bar (which was cheaper than outside sometimes) and a very large space. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The amenities in the room were amazing including an iPod dock which conviently charged my device while I sleep.

I felt like the sheets were not new and the mattress had a big stain on it underneath the only sheet which wasnt fitted. The duvet was nice, but I'm not sure that was washed at all either.

The hotel has a very good location and offers exellent services while it is not too expensive.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in Amsterdam. We booked this hotel based on trip advisor reviews. The location is right beside dam square and just 700 m from central station. It is a perfect location for people who are travelling to tour and view Amsterdam. The staff at reception are very helpful and efficient. The rooms are on the small side but very comfortable but then we were not there to sit in the hotel all day. There was both smoking and non smoking rooms. The rooms were cleaned everyday and the facilities were modern. It had a a mini bar and kettle with tea and coffee available. The beds were very comfortable and in total this hotel met all the reviews that had been written. Thank you Hotel Amsterdam for a lovely city break. You deserve your good reviews.

Great location! Perfect for city break in Amsterdam. Room was clean and plenty of space for 2 people. Could not hear any noise from outside at night, even though we were on the side near Dam Square.

Could hear doors shutting and people in the hotel late at night. Not a big deal though.

Staff extremly friendly & helpful. We stayed in a double smoking room and the room was comfortable.

Friendly helpful staff, tea/coffee facilities in the room, and still allowed to smoke is a bonus for me rather than having to go outside. Would definately stay there again, handly for all the attractions and ideal if you just want to people watch.
