excellent location, quality and value for money. Very nice modern bathroom. It was the first time ever I was asked to pay 100 euro in advance as a deposit, and when I found out that there is an exact cleaning charge of 100 euro for possession of marijuana I sensed a connection and therefore felt like I was not being trusted as your client and guest, which was not very pleasant. I hopefully think that those precautions are unique aspects of Netherlands and its liberal drug policy, so it doesnt change my positive review of your hotel. |

I had special help when my room TV screen computer did not work, and the staff helped me to use the business computer. Actually, the main reason for my choice is that there are only three hotels left in Amsterdam where you have smoking rooms, and my girl friend smokes! I had a separate non-smoking room for myself. |

The greatest advantage (and imho, the sole) of this hotel is its perfect location right near the Dam square and a major shopping mall. Rooms are tiny, bathrooms are even smaller (every shower results in a mini flood). Although there signs inside the hotel which claim that smoking in the hotel is prohibited as of 2008, apparently smoking in the rooms is still allowed, which results in the respective odour in the rooms. Keeping windows opened for a long time at -3c seemed challenging and did not really help. Rooms need renovation. The hotel can not be accessed by car! The hotel building is separated from a one way road by busy tram rails and there's literally absolutely no place to leave the car for 5 minutes to drop/ pick up luggage. Furthermore, the only parking nearby is the one belonging to the shopping mall across the street (fifty (50) euro per night!!!). |

Great location. It fullfilled my needs. The staff at reception was very friendly and professional and very helpfull. The interior is not what I would have expected of a 4* hotel. |

Excellent location for shopping and City/Barge Tour starting points, Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms are spotless. Shower/Toilet facilities, See-through door and toilet is very close to the wall, no ventilation. |

Friendly staff, availability of smoking rooms but the best experience was the restaurant, the ambience was so somfortable and inviting, food was great and the service from the waiter was top class. Well done! The shelves in the room were a bit dusty |

It was the only hotel that advertised a smoking room, all rooms on the second floor are smoking, which if you are smoker is a great luxury! The location is excellent, 10 mins walk from central station, which is only 15mins from the airport. Every attraction is within walking distance It dosent strike me as a 4 star hotel, the rooms are small compared to rooms in other 4 star hotels i have stayed in. The tea and coffee facilities in the room are sparce, 1 teabag and 2 coffee!! |

Very kind staff who was very helpful and kind and always up to the tasks which were appointed to them. In these modern times i think it's higly unacceptable to charge 15 euros per day for internet acces. You either remove the charge and add it to the room upon booking or find other ways to make money. The view of the hotel was also kind of depressing. |

Good staff, quite at night, very cosey and good shower :) I needed to book another night and they wanted to charge €189, double what I had paid for each of the other nights so had to move to another hotel. |

generally happy with hotel however we would have liked it to have had a small bar where we could have met our colleagues before leaving each time instead of having to hang around at reception desk as a meeting place - bar facility or restaurant would make a big difference. i dont like soap dispensers which are used by everyone who uses a room - much more personal to have complimentary soaps/shampoos etc |
