Скромный небольшой отель. Слабоват для четырех звезд. Преимущество отеля в его расположении. Он находится в самом центре города и до всего можно дойти пешком. |

Наличие номеров для курящих за относительно небольшую доплату. Расположение идеально для шопинга, посещения основных достопримечательностей и одновременно в одной остановке от центрального вокзала. Если заказывать трансфер на такси в аэропорт, то получается дешевле примерно на 20%, чем в других отелях, т.к. цена фиксирована - 39 евро (обычным порядком в других отелях - около 50 евро по счетчику). Стандартный номер имеет приличные размеры, достаточные для комфортного проживания в течение нескольких дней. При двухместном размещении неплохо было бы предоставлять 2-3 пепельницы, а не одну. Также на двоих неплохо было бы увеличить вдвое число предоставляемых порций чая, кофе и сахара. Мини-бар следует пополнять быстрее: если один из видов напитков полностью израсходован, значит на него есть спрос. |

Только то что он находится в историческом центре, остальное : сервис, комфорт да и сам номер оставляют желать лучшего, на 4 звезды он , конечно не тяне. В Амстердаме в центре три звезды есть значительно лучше. |

Очень удобно расположенный отель, приветливый, готовый помочь и достаточно квалифицированный персонал. Особое, что понравилось - наличие номеров, где можно курить, оба раза в таких и останавливался. Не очень понравилось - в номере, где я был последний раз, шумел кондиционер и плохо работал кран в ванной. Полы поскрипывают. |

only location and restaurant, everything else is pretty poor, I dont know why this hotel has 4 stars and costs 380 euro for 3 days, for this sum of money we could stay in much better place |

generally happy with hotel however we would have liked it to have had a small bar where we could have met our colleagues before leaving each time instead of having to hang around at reception desk as a meeting place - bar facility or restaurant would make a big difference. i dont like soap dispensers which are used by everyone who uses a room - much more personal to have complimentary soaps/shampoos etc |

The main matter I like is location. And a good staff. Yes. In my room the water in shower filled in all space in the bathroom. It was not good. |

Staff were great. Two single beds pushed together that made up one double.Internet was expensive at 7 euro per hour. I run an internet business and check my emails daily so it would have been expensive, so I purchased a t-mobile usb internet card for 50 euro from the t-mobile shop in the back lane. |

Hotel Amsterdam De Roode Leeuw is a very comfortable hotel with a perfect location. It's just off Dam Square. It faces De Beijenkorf, Amsterdam's largest department store and the back of the hotel faces Kalverstraat, the main shopping street. It's also only a few blocks to walk to the central train station. The hotel restaurant offers real Dutch dishes and there are only a handful of restaurants in Amsterdam that prepare Dutch food. My only complaint is the lift which is very slow and frequently causes a people jam in the reception area. |

They gave me a room with a single bed, although I booked a room with two beds as I was travelling with a friend. Hopefully, after I made quite a lot of noise at the reception they gave us the room we had paid for. And offered us one night. But they also made us pay a 100 euro tax for "smoking in the room" which we didn't do. So in the end, we had to pay an extra, including the tourist tax which is a daily tax and is not included in the booking price... Quite annoying. |

it was close from everything. 1-They have charged me about 35 Euro for a visitor who just stayed for 1 hour. 2- they can not check you in until it's 2 pm. so if your flight was at 6 in Amsterdam like i had, u are gonna hate yourself waiting them to check you in and have a rest. |

I was really happy when I showed up at 8.30am and was told that I could have my room by 9.00am even though check in is usually at 2.00pm. Very nice. The shower is a bit of a bother. I had to wipe up all the water after each shower. |
