Good in general. 17€ for the breakfast is far too exegerate for what you have there is an annoying noise in the rooms due to the ventilation system. You can do nothing to solve that |

the room was amazing, very modern, spacious and relaxing. we loved the tv!!!!! staff were friendly and very helpfull in providing information about the city, the public carpark underneath the hotel was very convenient, although it wasnt free-parking 6,30 euro a day is very reasonable We were there in August and apparently the windows from the outside hadn't been cleaned for a while so the result was that the outside windows were full of spiders and upon arrival there were spiders inside our room so during our stay we couldnt open the windows. In the hallways though the windows were open so the sealings were full of spiders. Apart from the spiders no complaints about the hotel its self. |

Good location in the pleasant new design town of Almere, with easy and fast train access to Amsterdam; good breakfast and free internet access. To solve the ventilation high noise in the room. |

Design and architecture - the hotel was designed by Will Alsop's office and it's situated close to new theatre by SANAA and Almere Heart project by Rem Koolhaas (ie a must for architectural geeks). Rooms have nice and modern interiors. Staff was friendly and helpful. I booked a room as a part of special offer paying 60 eur/night, which in Holland is exceptional. It was far more better rate and quality than in many hotels in downtown Amsterdam. Hotel is relatively close to shopping and train station. It is possible to stay in this nice hotel in Almere and do day trips to Amsterdam - train takes only 20 min. Tv in a room didn't work and I found some dust under my bed. There were minor things compared to the overall positive experience. |

What a beautiful modern hotel. The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. Great value for the money. The staff were friendly and they offered a wonderful breakfast. Since they do not offer a fitness area, they have an arrangement with fitness club down the street, but it was confusing how to get there and the people at the club were confused about the arrangement but let us work out anyway. The Apollo staff should make up a little map and maybe offer a fitness coupon, maybe at a charge so it is easier on the guests. |

Nice place, great staff. Very handy for my business needs. Free internet (wireless). Good breakfast (when included!) TV selection very poor, lots of pay-to-view (personal hate!). Hopeless remote control system. |

Wireless internet (included in the room rate). The restaurant food is very nice. Staff are friendly. Beds comfortable. Good location close to many restaurants. 10 min walk from railway station. Wieckse Witte. Only a single open shelf to put clothes. Tv system takes on a life of its own at times. The hotels environmental policy of leaving towels for another day if they are hung up was not followed on 3 of the 4 nights I stayed. (Mark the towel label and check for yourself!). Morning wake up calls dont always happen (there is no automated service). |

The room was very nice. Unfortunately the TV did not work and was also not fixed after we called the reception about it. When we mentioned this at our check out the lady working there was very dismissive about it and said we should have kept on calling in order to get it fixed. She gave us the impression that it was too bad for us that we did not have a working TV in our room because we did not want to call reception about this several times. We feel that in a Four Star hotel the service should be so good that it should take only 1 call to get things fixed and maybe get reception to call us to inform or confirm that the problem was solved. It did not help that the receptionst was argumentative about this during our check out. Also, there were problems with the computer system so we could not check out straight away. Again, here the receptionst was also not very friendly. We did not have a problem with the computer issue but since it was clearly not our fault it would have been nice to be addressed in a bit more polite / friendly way.So unfortunatly even though the room was nice and the food was good we left the hotel feeling annoyed. This could have easily been prevented if the staff at the reception would have worked a bit more customer oriented. |

The hotel is pretty central to most things in Almere. The room service was good. I really enjoyed the smoke duck and the apple pie. The cleanliness was a big plus. The staff was helpfull and friendly. There was no fridge or mini bar so even to have a drink of water you needed to call room service or go down to the restaurant. I feel that breakfast should be included in the price. The use of the telephone was a bit complicated, to make an outside call it took a very long time to get connnected. |

Reasonably comfortable with adequate restaurant facility.Easy access to Amsterdam via train travel. Difficult to find. No free car park only use of public car park. Expensive breakfast and not value for money. Square outside hotel used for public celebration on public holiday which created lots of noise. |

The room was clean and well kept. The staff are really friendly and give a good service. A wierd design for a hotel, but don't let that put you off. It's "normal" inside and built to a good standard! There isn't enough hanging space or storage for clothes. The simple reorientation of the pole on which to hang clothes, plus the addition of a couple of drawers, would make a huge difference. A minor, minor niggle is that the scrambled egg is made early and left right through breakfast. It gets stale and solid. |

I liked the comfort I got for the price (59,00€), I liked the room, the cleanliness, the quiteness, the facilities... I only stayed for the night, so my experience with our hotel might not be the most thourough, but I absolutely had no objections to any aspect of the hotel. |
