Helpful staff. I originally had the non smoking room, but the TV wasn't working, so they moved me to a smoking room. The smoking room is not nearly as nice as the non smoking one, but they said it's an "executive room". |

The staff were exceptionally friendly and did everything to make our stay enjoyable The distance from the centre of Amsterdam. It took 20 minutes on the tram to go to the centre but apart from that everything was excellent. |

It's location on the side of the canal - far enough away from the noise and bustle of the city but yet within walking distance to all places of interest as well as restaurants and bars. Excellent. |

The first room we got was lovely! When we were booking in they offered us an upgrade from the standard room to the business rooms for an extra 30euro per night so we accepted and the room was beautiful but later we found out they were non smoking, we asked to be changed to smoking rooms and the rooms we were changed to were nowhere near as nice as the non smoking and they refused to refund us the 30euro per night. |

Very nice hotel, very nice room. In a lot of hotels the light is very poor in the bathroom and the showers are not that good, but in this hotel the light was very sufficient and the shower was superb!!!I wanted to eat in my room and the order came within 15 minutes. Very good!! |

Nice view from our room to a channel, reasonably comfortable accomodations They were reforming the lobby and that was a little mess, there were building materials and wooden beams to tread on all over the place, it was not really aesthetic. |

nice and comfortable room with possibilities for tea and coffee. we had to pass the smoking part on our way to the elevator (to our room). This might be the case because maintenance of the hotel was going on |
