Apple Inn Hotel  

The rooms were really clean, spacious and modern. The staff were very friendly allowing us to use the breakfast room and offering guidance on where to go and get the tram which stops 5 minutes from the hotel and goes into the centre.

When we arrived the hotel was under refurbishment and our first impression was we are staying on a building site, however when we checked in at the temporary reception and shown to our rooms there was some areas that were not accessible and there was noise from the building works from 7am. The stairs are too steep and narrow and not suitable for everyone.

The Location is good.

The oldfashioned TV was placed on the wall so it was not possible to see it from the bed.

Nice location in Oud-Zuid with easy access to the centre by tram and right next to the Vondelpark. Bikes available at hotel, which we did not use this time, but always nice for tourists

Very basic room, bathroom ready for a remodelation, it took about 20 minutes to regulate the warm water in the shower.

I liked the friendly helpful staff. The easy access to trams to the city centre. It is not too difficult to park the car, or at least it wasn't for me. I liked the breakfast.

The rather expensive parking. It is now card only, so my pocket full of euro coins could be spent elsewhere. The WiFi signal was a bit weak

Not much, you could only sleep there, too pricey And not up to much. Would not stay here Again.

No bar, was not clean very poor

It's proximity to the marvellous Vondel Park makes it a good place to stay in. The rooms were clean and the area is quite.

Very small rooms VERY steep stairs with no lift facility, which made our task of carrying our luggage to the rooms a very difficult one.

Location is good. situated just in front of Vondelpark and also Line Tram 2 passes in front of the hotel every 10-15mins.

for four people the room was too small and also breakfast was not included in relation to pay almost 1100euros.

The location was good for the main art galleries and the Vondel Park which allows traffic free access to the centre of Amsterdam. The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast was adequate although somewhat limited in choice with no hot food available except toast and hard boiled eggs. The room was located at the back of the hotel and was quiet, outside the front of the hotel was a tram route and quite a busy road.

On arrival, having booked a twin bedded room the receptionist informed us we had been given a large room. This 'large' room had 4 single beds and a fold up bed, one chair, a single wardrobe, no writing facilities, one bedside table which could not be placed between any of the beds and another which had a small portable tv on it and a wet room. We asked if the sofa bed could be removed and was told this was not possible so we had to move it ourselves and place it on one of the spare beds. The general decoration in the room was in less than perfect condition with chipped paint and curtains wich did not completely cover the windows at night. Whilst the location was good we felt this was more a backpackers hostel than a hotel.

located in a very lovely quiet area of Amsterdam,It was great and strange to wake up in the morning with the birds singing. It is very nearby the city centre and you can reach it by a nice walk in a sunny day.

maybe because of the Queen's birthday w-end but the price (140€ per night) of a double room (breakfast not included)was too expensive for this category of hotel.

Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff were polite and very helpful. Reasonable price for a fantastic location, 2 minutes from vondelpark.

Breakfast was a little uninspiring, would have been nice to have some pastries. However good range of cereal and bread for toast etc, there was meat but we are vegetarian.

La chambre venait d'être refaite

L'hôtel était en travaux donc la salle de séjour (pour prendre le petit déjeuner) et la chambre ne correspondaient pas aux images du site! Une benne à ordures était sous nos fenêtres du rez de chaussée et le tramway passait toutes les 10 minutes : donc bruit + vue dégradée + chambre peu spacieuse + aucune terrasse donnant sur le jardin (comme sur les photos du site) = grosse déception vu le prix !!!!

dat we een 5 pers. kamer hadden geboekt en dat die er niet meer was en we als groep gescheiden werden

Alles. Aardig personeel, goed ontbijt, mooie kamer met dito sanitair.Prima ligging in een hele mooie wijk.

Lampje boven de badkamer kon niet uit. Bleef de gehele nacht branden.

Prachtige kamers, modern en schoon. Perfecte Wifi (gratis) en de tram stopt voor de deur om in 10 minuten in het centrum te komen.

Alles viel mee, daar de kamers 1 week geleden zijn gerenoveerd en hierdoor de sterrenklassificatie naar 3*** is gestegen.

Muy cerca del tramvía y de Vondelpark. Los empleados muy amables y dispuestos a ayudarte siempre. La habitación perfecta. No se necesita más.

Precio del desayuno muy elevado.

Скромный, но качественный отель. Номера простые, но уютные и чистые. Очень приятный персонал, особенно русская девушка на ресэпшн (Гилиана или как-то так). Неплохое расположение в чистом, тихом и приличном районе.

Отсутствие урн для мусора в номере.

Расположение, вежливый персонал, чистота и регулярная уборка в номере; на мой взгляд отель "тянет" на три звезды

Мышь (жили на первом этаже), но это даже добавило в проживание романтики:-)

location (10 minutes by tram to the centre), neighbourhood (very nice and clean and safe, with a lot of cafes around), the room itself (it was quiet and we were lucky to have a balcony facing the garden, but i guess those facing the street can be much noisier because of the tram), the bed was really comfortable

luggage storage costs 5 euro per item!

La proximité du départ/arrivée du marathon d'Amsterdam

1) Cher pour le standing très bas de l'hôtel. Chambre triste, prise électriques non conformes, confort minimum, salle de bain avec équipement défaillant: température de l'eau impossible à régler, pas de mitigeur, lavabo mal accroché au mur, rideau de douche vieillot et inefficace. Hôtel bruyant. 2)Personnel peu accommodant: très peu d'effort pour avancer le petit déjeuner le matin du marathon avant 8h30, alors que tous les clients venaient pour cela.

Que me asignaron una habitación de planta baja Que su ubicación estaba a menos de 100m del tranvía 2 que viene desde la estación de trenes y a 10 min caminando del autobus que va al aeropuerto de Schipol.

Que hubo mucho ruido en los pasillos de 12 a 2 am y que no era explicito en las características del hotel que el precio de la habitación no incluía el transporte al aeropuerto de Schipol.

Приятно удивлены, что многие сотрудники в отеля говорят на русском языке :) Потому как, позже выяснилось, что отель принадлежит русскому хозяину. Отличные матрасы, высыпались, как ангелы :)

Отель немного обшарпан, ему катастрофически нужен ремонт! И как всегда беда с Wi-Fi. Плохо ловил сигнал в номере, приходилось часто выходить в коридор + часто пропадал вообще сигнал, нужно было ходить на ресепшн и просить делать перезагрузку роутеров.

Posizione tutto sommato buona, a 10 minuti di tram dal centro, mezz'ora a piedi. Quartiere residenziale, quindi molto tranquillo. Personale gentile e disponibile, sempre pronto a venirti incontro.
