Golden Tulip Apple Park Hotel Maastricht  

Good price modern room with free wifi and parking available opposite the restaurant. Very nice breakfast as well with outisde seating if you are lucky enough to catch some sun.

There were lots of stains on the carpet in my room and the bed which didnt look like they had even been attempted to be removed and im not sure the cleaner had ever dragged a hoover across my room or the halls and stairs.

Great service & a lovely design of hotel with the metal work in rooms, very modern. Provided everything we needed for a week, the bar was very nice and reasonably priced for drinks. The room had very long beds and baths which made a nice change as normally too small.

Restaurant was lovely in decoration but the menu didn't have enough selection and what was there was over priced for what it was.

If you go for a city trip the hotel is not well-located. There is a shuttle to the centre but you have to pay for it. We selected GT Apple Park Hotel as other hotels (located near the center of Maastricht) were fully booked. Price of the room was relatively high.

Very friendly staff. We liked the urban/vintage motorbikes in the lobby. Comfortable and up-to-the-minute decor. I like the wall hanging wardrobes!!! Excellent luggage racks- built to withstand everything put on it. Great breakfast spread. Loved the range of breads etc.

Althought the breakfast was good I don't eat meat so it would have been nice to have smoked fish as well as the cheeses.

It was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was easy. The hotel is easy to reach as it is on the edge of town.

The lighting was a lurid green in reception and too dark to read in the bedroom. Only one chair. The design, described as "trendy" by the hotel was "industrial/brutal". There was a brightly lit large eye in the lift; "big sister is watching you!" The hotel is handy for the football stadium but supposedly half an hours walk from the city except you have to cross main roads negotiate the railway lines and venture through an area not shown on the map supplied by the hotel. Best to take cab. I could recommend the hotel for someone passing through or a football fan.

The constant hum at night from the air con/heating even though it was apparently turned off on the walll.... No sleep

Breakfast far to expensive @ 18 euro price should be 10 to 12 euro and car park should be free.

Room was small with no min bar......

A ten minute walk to the train station, and a further ten minutes into town so quite a good location. The hotel has green open space to two sides and is ideal for a short stroll. The staff could not be better and speak good English.

The moment we left.

It was too far from the centre of town and they would not allow us to change our booking. We ended up paying for another hotel simultaneously as they were too inflexible.
