Charming cottage on quaint street. Nearby parking at very reasonable rate. Comfortable living room.

Pillows were a little too small - more like throw pillows for a sofa. Also, it would be very helpful to have a map of the towns of Zandvoort and of Haarlem available to guests.

This venue was really lovely to stay in. It felt like we were staying in a quaint fishermans cottage. The venue was very clean, comfortable and was fitted with everything we needed to self cater. It was also very well situated near the promenade, shops, bars etc.

As an older customer I would have preferred a toilet upstairs for the nighttime but I recognise that this would not be easy for the owners given the architecture of the cottage.

It's a charming fairytale house, really close to both the seaside and the city center. The host was really nice and helpful! If you want to visit Amsterdam or Harlem you are 15 minutes walk away from the train station, and then a 30 or 10 min ride away from this cities.

What a wonderful warm welcome from Angie. The cottage is just around the corner from the place you knock on the door and it is indeed a small former fishing cottage. Everything was very neat and clean. You are indeed only a short walk away from the beach which has nice fine sand, perfect for sun bathing and swimming. You are also nicely removed from the tourist bustle on the street just a block and a half away, so nice peaceful sleeps are available with your window open. Ask for towels if you didn't pack your own. They are supplied willingly and, in our case, without us asking for them. Remember you are in Europe and the room sizes are 3/4 size to our North American standards so the kichenette, dining and living room may be smaller that expected in a cottage in the North America but pleasantly functional. More than enough for our family of three (mom, dad and eight year old daughter).

There are two drawbacks of the De Wester. One is a musty smell in the entrance of the cottage. I think it is due to age but thankfully is not endemic to the entire cottage. The other is the location of the toilet on the main floor. The rooms each have sinks in them and the shower is upstairs but having to negotiate the steep staircase to the bathroom toilet is a challenge for weary travelers in the morning. The beds are soft but comfortable. Overall we rate the place a 7/10.

Sehr gute Lage, sehr nette Vermieterin!

Lief huisje vlakbij strand en winkelstraatje. Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars. Wij hadden niet verwacht dat Zandvoort ook omringd zou zijn van zo veel prachtige en gevarieerde natuur! Fietsen mee, en genieten maar. Wij boften in het bijzonder met zonnige dagen, en bloeiende bollenvelden op 10 km afstand als toegift!

Ontvangst en vertrouwen was erg goed.

Het zou handig zijn als er een parkeerplaats voor handen zou zijn.Nu moest dit betaald, gelukkig wel op loopafstand. +/- 2 Minuten.

Proximité d'Amsterdam, de la mer du Nord, du parc Keukenhof. Ville calme et zone écologique protégée. Maison traditionnelle néerlandaise de Zandvoort. 1 Lavabo par chambre Wi-Fi / tv satellite. Salon/Cuisine avec plaques et Micro-Ondes.

Douche sans mitigeur : jouer avec robinet d'eau chaude et d'eau froide n'était pas aisé. 2 chambres : 1 pour couple adulte composée de 2 lits accolés, 1 pour enfants avec 2 lits bien séparés sous pente de toit bien basse... Isolation phonique et thermique. Pas de parking gratuit (introuvable en Hollande d'ailleurs) : 7,5€/24h

Maja on pisut kulunud, kööginõud ja köögitehnika pisut väsinud. WC on allkorrusel, käterätikuid ei olnud (kuigi sellest teavitati broneerimisel). TV puldil olid patareid tühjad.

Ein sehr schönes kleines gemütliches Haus. Uns hat es gefallen. Sehr nette Vermieter. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

Lage, Aufteilung

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen,die Vermieterin war sehr nett und zuvorkommend !! Man findet alles was man braucht und kann jederzeit nachfragen wenn man was wissen muß. Ein sehr schöner Ort um sich zu erholen .Kann man nur empfehlen.

Es fehlte irgendwie ein Sofa/Couch,aber da es Platzmäßig wahrscheinlich nicht machbar ist ist es auch so in Ordnung ! Vielleicht sollte man stattdessen einen 2.Ohrensessel dazu stellen,könnte man gegen einen anderen Sessel austauschen :-) Aber wenn das alles ist ... man kommt auch so klar !

Absolut preisgünstig bzw. viel Leistung für das Geld, sehr sauber und top ausgestattet. Parkmöglichkeiten in der nähe und nur 50 mtr. zum Centrum sowie 150 mtr. zum Strand. Die Besitzer sind echt nett und sehr entgegenkommend aber vor allem hilfsbereit. Bis zum nächsten mal.

Uriges Ferienhaus in absoluter Top Lage. Strand und Innenstadt in wenigen Metern zu erreichen.

Erg leuk appartement, waar je je snel thuis voelt! Leuke locatie en dichtbij het strand/zee! Binnen 10 min. met de trein in Haarlem. Vriendelijke eigenaar/eigenaresse

Das kleine Haus ist liebevoll und rustikal eingerichtet. Bis zum Meer sind es keine 2 Minuten, genauso ist das Stadtzentrum direkt erreichbar. Die Vermieter war sehr nett und hat uns tolle Ausflugstipps mitgeteilt. Nur zu empfehlen, werden wieder buchen!

Ons verblijf in De Wester is enorm goed meegevallen! We werden vriendelijk onthaald. Het huisje was zeer net en proper. Er waren alle faciliteiten die we nodig hadden. De ligging was ideaal, vlak bij het strand en de gezellige boulevard, en vlak bij het centrum met winkeltjes en restaurantjes. Als we nog eens naar Zandvoort gaan, zullen we niet twijfelen en opnieuw voor De Wester kiezen!!

Oma rauha omassa talossa. Omistaja otti vastaan ehdotuksia viihtyvyyden parantamiseksi. Jääkaappi oli todella vanha, olisi ollut vaikea säilyttää ruokia kesäkuumalla. Wc-pytty heilui. Keittiössä oli hyvä varustus, hyvät sängyt.

Prévoir le budget parking : stationnement payant partout, mini 7,50 euros par jour (mais cela concerne tous les Pays-Bas)

Die gute zentrale Lage zum Meer und zur Innenstadt; das gesamte kleine Fischerhaus, das als Zimmer vermietet wird.
