The cafe is lovely, the rooms were very comfortable and the decor is very nice with a good design focus. The location is not great if you want to see the city, as it is a fair way out of the Centre. Is close to the Zoo though |

The hotel room was beautiful, with a spiral staircase leading upto a huge bed and flat screen TV. The bathroom was a large 'glass box' with rainfall shower and chique black interior. The cocktails int he bar were also lovely and not a bad price either! It is too far from the centre of Amsterdam. It cost 20 euros in a taxi from the central station so it is too expensive to travel to and from by taxi. The metro and tram services are cheap and good but it is a fair walk to the nearest stop, about 10 minutes and my boyfriend and I are both fast walkers. |

Quiet room, very comfortable bed, clean, quirky style and ambience, excellent breakfast. Room was very stylish but - apart from the bed - not very comfortable. Rather cold and clinical and no drawer space provided. I had asked for a twin-bedded room as I was staying with my daughter and although it was not a problem, it seemed that no notice was taken of my request. Reception staff were rather abrupt. |

Hotel was fantastic and the rooms were extremely unusual - we chose to stay at the hotel for dinner and although were not able to eat in the restaurant we enjoyed lovely meal in the bar, staff that evening were very friendly and very attentive. . Unfortunately the same could not be said for the waitress the next morning during breakfast, where she was extremely unhelpful almost to the point of being rude - which is sad as up until that point our stay at this hotel had been extremely enjoyable. |

- good location, close to the center, clean room, very comfortable bed - the hotel is under reconstruction, so the atmosphere is a little depresing; the night club is very noisy |

It was quiet and conveniently located, within walking distance to city centre. Staff were friendly and breakfast fairly decent. Restaurant does not open until early evening. |

The design is great. The dust in the room - especially in the bathroom. The shape of the handbasins is very cool but its not usufull - the dirt in the corners was very visible...The location is not exactly in the center. |

I liked the design of the hotel and the rooms were very spacious for a city like Amsterdam. The only problem was that you could hear through the thin walls. |

We apreciate in particular the design of the rooms. The combination of old and modern could be found everywhere |

The hotel was a welcome change from the 'chain' hotels, the staff were extremely courteous and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our walks into the centre of Amsterdam from there. |
