Amadore Hotel Restaurant Arion    

Nice light & airy room, the bed was comfortable &larger than most beds in hotels.(great for tall people!)We had a room with a sea view & small balcony which was very nice. The breakfast was good & offered a variety to choose from. We appreciated the freshly squeezed orange juice!Staff was friendly & helpful.

Breakfast coffee machine didn´t make good coffee. Water pressure was too low for the shower.

Nicely situated at sea front with many ships passing by. Back door causing terrible draft with strong easterly wind. Staff very firendly and willing to please.

Hotel parking quite small, but was sufficient for my stay. No one direction traffic flow, causing either need to turn or reverse out.

Splendid views and very spacious, high standard room. Good food. Relaxed service.

Noisy whistling air vent in washroom

The breakfast was very good. Amongst the staff, the manager is very nice, and so is one of the ladies at the reception. Rooms are ok, but nothing fancy.

The rest of the staff, not very friendly, especially the cleaning team and the extremely unpleasant lady from the bar. One of the person from the reception has been very rude with my wife as well. The fitness room is very small and disappointing.

Very rare to leave a review, but stayed just before christmas on a job and what a lovely place to stay.great ambiance, lovely food, excellent staff. Certainly will be booking this place on our return in January.

No sockets around the desk ! could do with extension leads, but a minor issue.

The location is excellent

I have been staying at the hotel for many years and was happy until this recent visit when i was given Room number ending with 17 in it. No bath, peculiar size room, bathroom in a "cupboard", thin door separating the room next door - i could hear every thing from next door - the whole night! I hardly slept - it was a disaster! When i complained, the receptionist did nothing about it. I left very unhappy!

Despite reservation sauna was not available

3rd or 4th visit. Breakfast buffet is excellent.

There was a water hammer in the heating pipes for a couple of hours, but the staff did get it fixed quickly.

The location and the low "secret offer" price

The "secret offer" price landed me and my wife in the smallest room on that floor (the only one without a bath tub). The door would not lock withouth making some sort of an alarm sound which no one came to look at, even though I called twice at the reception. We ended up sleeping without the door lock on.

the location, comfort, good shower ! Nice bar in the evening overlooking the sea and able to have dinner in the restaurant was appreciated after looking around the town and having a drink in the local bars.

The breakfast, eggs bacon etc, was only luke warm - bit disappointing.

Near the sea

The location is fantastic, if you have a room on the front on the hotel then the sea views are lovely ! Breakfast is good but the coffee from the machine is just about OK. Fresh coffee should be standard for a hotel of this type !

The hotel staff could be a little more friendly and our room looked clean but there were some spills inside the mini bar which just needed a wipe to clean up but had been missed. something had been dropped and was lieing on the base of the floor lamp, which needed cleaning up. Again this was missed by the cleaning team. It would be unfair to say the room was dirty but these small things make a good hotel a very good hotel.

The location is amazing.Just in front of the beach.Even if it is cold you can still enjoy the view and relaxing sound of the sea!! Hotel staff is very friendly and speak good English. I always feel like home there!

The price is expensive for such a small city like Vlissingen. Also they don`t have room delivery menu,though this service is mentioned!

Friendly atmosphere, nice bar, restaurant and staff

The location of the hotel worked very well for us being a family with a young child and stroller - the walk into town was not far.

On arriving to the hotel our room only had towels for one person and no bath mat. The tv did not work and was fixed after an hour of our arrival. There was a large spit mark and mucas on the wall which I pointed out to the staff member who came to fix the tv but this was left there for our entire stay and our bed that was said to be a double was in fact two singles which had a large gap in the middle.

We choose this Hotel through Flash Deals which was so easy to do. On arrival at Hotel we were given a sea view room we had only booked a stardard room thanks very much for the seaview room.The room was large and we had a kingsize bed, plenty of hot warter Hotel was spotless and we had a marvellous room looking out onto the beach didn,t use restaurant Would highly recommend this hotel

Very friendly staff, good food, great sea view from room.

Very limited private hotel parking (about 10 spaces!). Unusual for a 4 star hotel, although they do provide a free parking voucher for nearby public parking.

Very nice and relaxed atmosphere. It's my hotel of choice for working in Vlissingen.

Lift is very slow. I do not like shower units sitting in bath tubs, prefer stand alone shower cubicles. Shower head in my room would not move on its pole.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Amadore Grand Hotel Arion. The hotel is very well situated, in front of the beach. The rooms are very comfortable, with excellent facilities. It is a very good 4-star hotel, and the good deal I have found in Booking.com made it extremely affordable.

Ontvangs was prima. Personeel had aandacht voor de gasten. Op het terras gezeten, waarbij de bestelling steeds vlot kwam. Werd ook goed gemaneged. S`Avonds in het restaurant gegeten, was zeer goed. Ontbijt was bij de prijs inbegrepen, voldoense keus en gevarieerd. Prima kamers, goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.
