Our small hotel is a beautiful canal-house that is over 300 years old, nestled on the quiet, picturesque Singel, the oldest of the four major ring canals in Amsterdam's famed inner city.

The location was next to rembrandt square, nice staff and no problems with our stay! Wifi worked perfectly
No smoking in hotel!
The location is excellent, our room had amazing views to the canal. Free coffee and delicious hot chocolate at any time. We will go there in our next visit to Amsterdam.
The pillow wasn't the most comfortable one.
Clean sheets, clean bathroom, all basic necessities were there. Private room and bathroom. Good WiFi connection. Got an upgrade from a 1 person to a 3 person room without additional pay. For me this made it really good value for money.
It's really basic, with an outdated interior.
staircase, reception area, shower
I left my tablet there and they kept it for me and they gave it back :)
The hotel price is ok for amsterdam. Not many facilities. There was a guy in the reception when i called. He hangup on me and he was rude
It is good hotel on this price. Room was very clean. Every day change towels and clean our room. It is near the Rembrandt square.
Location staff New carpets
No lift Paid and extra 6% surcharge bathroom needs to be updated. Old skirtings
Close to city-center on foot or in the tram.
The bar next to the hotel is quite noisy friday/saterday nights.
Dirty, very small bathroom and ridiculous space in the room. Lift not working. No hotel manager. The images on the web site are not showing the real rooms.
The elevator didn't work. The walls are so thin, we could here everything from the neighbours. only little space for luggage to store. Bathroom door did not close. Once we could glimpse into other rooms and it seemed that had a bit better quality - so it is maybe luck which room you get ...
The wifi worked well.
The badly stained curtains hanging out of their rails. Cupboards that are nearly falling apart. Very noisy heating system. At a certain point in the middle of the night it sounded like someone was slamming a door every 3 minutes. Although the cleaning lady did her best.... There just isn't a whole lot you can do if everything is in such a bad state. The shower was almost hanging off the wall and the tiles looked like they had been repaired by a 3 year old. Really poor TV and the remote didn't work. An old family size bottle of shampoo left by the cavemen. Old towels ( again..... Clean.. So not the cleaning people's fault) Really badly stained mattress. Maybe it had been used for a sacrificial offering??? It was terrible.
Great location-nice view of canal
I was confused whether breakfast was served- it's not, even though it states 'Breakfast served between 7-10' on printed materials in the hotel.
close to the Train station bed was clean and comfortable
the size of the TV clearer instructions for the room dangerous stairs staff smoking in the Hotel
Pretty building right on the canal. An easy tram ride from central station. Coffee on site. Room was spartan and small. Easy walk to Rembrandplein, museums, etc. Desk staff esp. lady in morning was super helpful.
If you are two non-related people, book a room for three or prepare to be VERY friendly.
It was a good hotel for somewhere to kip
Staff attitude and pleasentness was the worst I've encountered reception growling at you when you came in not nice
Nice friendly staff, superb location
Missed breakfast at the hotel...
Room Size Friendly Staff Tea and Coffee facility 24 hours desk
Shower was blocked
I liked the Wifi and the bed. The bed was very comfortable and warm. The room was also quiet, which is a plus, except if there are too many guests in other rooms and they slam the doors.
Cleanliness should be looked at in more detail. There was no cleaning done at all during my 4 night stay, which I found strange. They only made the bed and emptied the bins. The shower curtain is mouldy and disgusting, and the toilet could also be cleaner. The little shelves in the bathroom had at least a months' dust on them. The water pipe from the bathtub should be looked at as it seems to be clogged. I was in room 502.
Location is really good, you can find whatever you need or whatever you want to see around hotel. Or can just take a tram to go everywhere.
Rooms are small and not ventilated. At booking page, there isnt any info about "basement" or "back side" rooms. I booked almost 2 months ago and i preferred double bed. But i stayed in a room with seperated beds at under basement and back side. This is the worst hotel i have ever seen. And the price/quality value is really bad.
Everyting, location is in the centar, very clean and comfortable.wi-fi is exelent.wondeful view from the room, you have everything you need for vacation of several days.
no elevator,small bathroom,no breckfast!
