We liked the space in the room. It was clean, the bathroom was big. Coffee and tea in the room. As advertised as an art hotel, the room featured mismatching furniture and not in an artistic way, but rather as incoherent assemblage of unused furnitures. The bed was also too low and looked like it was set up incorrectly. The pictures presented under the room we had booked were very misleading. Art hotel might be stretching it, just a little bit. The rest was ok.

I loved the arty feel of the hotel this is not your average hotel room. We stayed in the 'Light Tower' which is in the old Philips Building and the place has an industrial feel to it with rough exposed concrete etc. but the arty decoration like the massive floor lamp shaped like a lily was really cool. Also the ladies toilets in the foyer are not to be missed, each cubicle on it's own colour theme and chandeliers on the ceiling of the cubicle lol..... I did not like the overpriced breakfast €21 per head is a ridiculous price you could not possibly justify this... We did not include the breakfast in the original booking as the full price had to be paid up front if you booked this offer and no cancellation was allowed. Had planned to eat dinner in the hotel but the restaurant was dead and it's no wonder if the price of the breakfast is anything to go by then the hotel are clearly not interested in providing a good food experience for their customers.

we looked on line before we travelled, and really liked the room design that we looked at ,and especially the fact that all the rooms are designed different so you dont get the boring regular rooms that other hotels have , the only other one i know is clarages in london (if you can get a room ) loved it and the attention to detail, if you want to impress the one you love have a break here .. we loved it and will be back again ..ps we stayed in two of the rooms. and the staff are great and we all know how hard it is to get people who obviously like the work they do... and it shows john lieber ???????????????????????????????????????still thinking?????????????????????????????????no cant think of anything????????????????????? enjoyed it ..

During check-out I was given a reciept that stated the correct amount of charges. Once returned home, there had been an additional charge for our stay. I am currently waiting for the charge to drop.

Location is good and price reasonable, the only 'but' I can give is that it can be a bit confusing to go to your room, like a small labyrinth, but after the first time then all is ok

When i've booked the room I was impressed by the hotells' interiours on the photographs and I thought that was a quite good value for money. The room itself had a gorgeous night city view! The only thing looked to me strange that in the kings size bed they had two separate mattresses and it was awfuly uncomfortable to sleep as you end up sliding down between it.

Very funky stylish hotel. Hotel staff generally were very friendly. I couldn't get internet access on the 6th floor. I realised too late that night that the pass code I was given was not working on the 6th floor. It worked on ground floor. The lady I spoke to by phone did not want to get into any detail to try to help me - maybe she didn't know how to deal with this situation but she seemed happy to think the problem was on my side. I ended up working from the restaurant :-( More healthier options on the menu would be good. Deep fried chicken in a salad wasn't great.

Our 2nd time staying here. 1St was exactly a year ago, and was a much better experience. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeble. However, this most recent time, they were very aloof and fake. Were professional, but not kind and gave us the feeling that they were just doing there job because they had to. Rooms are nice, but the "art" concept loses much comfort and practicality. For 70€ its a good price, but I wouldnt pay even 10€ more for this kind of room/service/hotel (even though, when we checked out, they tried to charge us 10€ more). Would stay there again if I had no time to check out an alternative In addition to above mentioned, menu in restaurant is very basic and limited, yet very expensive. Also, parking costs 15€ and is extremely complicated with poor signage and locked gates and doors everywhere. We had to call the hotel twice from our cell phone (international rates) just to get them to open the garage door. Would recommend parking across the street.

Liked the spaciousness of the room, and the location very near to the city centre. I had chosen the hotel because it is close to the Philips lighttower (probably the only " historical" site in Eindhoven!).
