“The staff were really welcoming and helpful and allowed us to leave our bags before checking in and after checking out. It's in a good part of amsterdam, just a few minutes walk from the museums and a nice bar and restaurant area. The room was warm and the beds very comfortable.”

Friendly service, good location, nice restaurants and bars nearby bed and room was comfy and adequate size Breakfast - it stated a buffet breakfast for 6.50 euros, but the selection was quite minimal, only hot items on offer were coffee and toast.

Unfortunately the room was too small and very basic, complete with marks on the wall. Every little noise from other rooms and public areas was audible, and there wasnt even a kettle in the room. All in all a 65 euro room charged at over a hundred. Stay away if you can

We stayed in Deluxe Double Room for 3 nights. It's a ok room but nothing luxury. Considering the average reputation of Amsterdam's hotel during popular time period, I think this is a ok deal. Location is very good, although not in the right middle center of the city, but very convenient with the Tram which is 5 mins walk to the station. It's a nice neighborhood. After the booking is done, a welcome email sent with many useful information. Bathroom is very very basic, quite low standard. Reception staff is cold, although did provide help if requested.

The location was great for the city. Our room wasn't cleaned when we arrived, despite checking in well after the check-in time. The breakfast was revolting, with grey scrambled egg, dried stale croissants and lack of choice. The best thing available was the orange juice! It was really noisy with trams starting very early in the morning. My friends' room door was left open whilst the receptionist was tending to breakfast, checking people out and cleaning the bedrooms...get more staff! All his valuable belongings were left on show as his room was located adjacent to the reception. The parking recommended by the hotel was over double the price quoted (68 euros instead of 32 euros) and was therefore very misleading...and a really expensive option. The staff were rude and not at all welcoming.

The bed was comfortable. The location was okay. The pictures and description of our room were completely misleading. We booked a "Superior Double Room" that was described as spacious with either a courtyard or park view. Our room was barely larger than the queen sized bed. It could only be described as spacious because the ceilings were so high. Our room overlooked the "courtyard", which was little more than an small ventilation shaft to provide the room with a little bit of light and air. The bathroom belonged in a hostel. The staircase was really steep, but we expect that in Amsterdam. The overnight staff at the desk acted like we were a bother to him. The Booking.com profile of this "hotel" also says they provide baby cots as no extra charge. We twice asked them to confirm that we would have a baby cot for our child, but received no response. When we saw the room size, we understood why. Do not stay here if you're expecting it to be a spacious room with courteous staff and a good view. It should be labeled as a hostel, not a hotel.

The staff are really friendly The hotel looks much more modern in the photos than in real life. Due to this my expectation of the hotel was a lot higher so it was disappointing to see the facilities when I arrived. However, saying that, the stay was enjoyable enough.

Location is perfect. Close to Leidesplein, Vondelpark and HardRock Cafe. It is safe place to stay. There is someone at reception for 24 hours. Rooms are so so so small. If you have a big baggage, you can live with that only :) Window is looking to ventilation duct. When we arrived the Hotel , they wanted extra %2 commision for credit card payment. It's not written on their hotel info. We did not pay. Can not take fresh air when you opened the window. So room stinks. The worst thing is, it's so laudy. Shouting receptionist at 09:00 oclock in the morning or instruction noise in the top floors in the morning will wake you up in the morning. I think there are lot's of better places to stay in Amsterdam. Our experience was very bad for this hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent. We had a short walk from the airport bus stop on Leidseplein - 2/3 minutes in all. It was very close to all the international restaurants just off Leidseplein and near to the museums. There are several antique shops just round the corner. The main problem we had was the stairs. We were only there for one night and put on the fourth floor. However, there is no lift and a lot of stamina is required to do four flights of stairs at our age (60s). The staff were very nice but we were told nothing about breakfast on arrival and couldn't see a breakfast room. We would have been happy to pay the 6.50 euros per person indicated on the booking form but gave up and had breakfast elsewhere. The room was fine and clean and generally well equipped. Our baggage was taken up by some form of staff lift (we assume). You can leave baggage in the reception area during the day either before checking in or after but it is in an open area. However, reception is manned 24hours so the luggage is reasonably secure. The best things about the hotel are the location and price. The stairs.

To be honest i didn`t like anything about the `Hotel` Couldn`t wait to get out of it. Rooms are nothing like the pictures on the site. No t/c making facilities noise from building works at 9 in the morning.Me and my partner were on our first holiday away since we had our baby, and would have liked some lie on`s. But it was impossible as construction was going on first thing in the morning. Cleaner made up our bed once, we stayed a total of 4 nights but didn`t change the sheets? Receptionist wasnt very helpful. Would not recommend.

Good central location, not far to walk to restaurants, bars and museums. Room was small but only needed it for sleeping so was ideal We had room 3 which was on ground floor which could be a bit noisey when guests were coming and going as walls must be very thin, could here everything reception was saying

We arrived before check in time and the lady at the reception kindly let us leave our bags whilst we went sight seeing. The other 3 members of staff we met at reception were equally friendly and helpful. On the plus side this hotel is in a great location for the museums, restaurants and bars. The room was clean and tidy and reasonably spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and a hairdryer. It was -10 outside but the room was very warm, infact too warm for my partner. There was plenty of hot water in the shower which had good pressure. We had breakfast on both mornings which worked out at 5 euros per breakfast. If you only had breakfast on one morning it is more expensive. The breakfast was a cold buffet with meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, bread, hard boiled eggs, toast , fruit juice, fruit, tea and coffee. For the price it was a perfectly acceptable start to the day. This was our first visit to the hotel and we would certainly stay again. On the down side, the staircase upto the rooms is very steep, but only what you would expect in the small hotels in Amsterdam. The bathroom floor is marble and was very cold and no bath mat was provided. A welcome addition would have been a tea/coffee making facilities in the room

Location, room cleanliness, budget price and friendly staff.. If you stay 3. floor, there is no elevator.. You should step up a narrow and tiny stair with your luggage.. I didn't like shared bathroom that was smelling bad and it was uncomfortable..

The location is perfect. Stairs are steep but that is just the same at the rest of the hotels. Staff speaks very fluent English. Very clos to the night clubs. Walls are a bit thin so you might want to wish everbody is sleeping while you are trying to.
