I received a large electric shock when putting a plug into a socket that also tripped out the lights and send me across the room. I immediately reported this to the staff and they did show some concern, I was asked if i was ok a number of times during my stay but I was very surprised I was not officially asked to report and document the incident and also I was not made aware of any work that had done to repair the plug socket during my stay. Also a little disappointed they did not offer any type of compensation even a free night as it was a pretty unpleasant experience that could have had a very bad outcome.

The room was comfortable, at least for one person (probably also for 2), it also had a small kitchen with fridge, microwave boiler and coffee maker and cutlery and other stuff that can be useful. The bathroom was big and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location probably is not the safest of Rotterdam, It is not very nice also, but the hotel is right next to the metro station so that can be avoided. It needs new carpets in the hallways and the towels seam old and sometimes not so clean.

Enough space to stay and move in the room. Friendly staff. Nice wievs from the roomwindows ( 12th floor ). Good roomfacilities and very well located to travel to Ahoy. Trafficnoise was quite loud, when the window was open. The fan does not cool the roomair well, when the window is closed. I had seven bedmite`s bites; couch or bed or floorcarpet?

Spacious and clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Metro station right in front of the hotel. Very close to Ahoy conference centre. Very friendly staff. Room was not cleaned on one day. The reception staff offered us to move to another room instead. A little bit noisy because of the metro trains.

Lovely , quirky hotel inside, excellent kitchen facility in rooms. Spacious suite, very comfy beds, nice bathroom. Much more positive than not. Location is not great but suits for events at The Ahoy so try not to be put off ,it is lovely inside. No aircon so ask for room on tram side (not metro side as that is both noisy & boiling).

The room was really well maintained, clean and layed out well. It contained a separate kitchen with all the things you could want, a spacious bathroom and a very comfortable bedroom. I was on the 9th floor with a view towards the city. The view was stunning at night, you really forget your in an industrial part of town. The location of the hotel is great, you have the tram and metro stations right out side the door. The only down side to the whole experience was that there was building work going on. A few floors were having new carpet laid and a bit of a reverb. The smell and noise in a morning was a bit bad, I know these things need to be done, but would have been nice to be informed before arrival. Other wise it was excellent.

Spacious room like small apartment well equipped original design. Good breakfast buffet, helpful & friendly sstaff. Publick parking is free between 18:00pm-09:00am. Good access to public transport. All public spaces in hotel have original design. Overall good value for money, had a nice stay. Not much choice of shops or restaurants near the hotel. Strange sweet soap smell in corridors. Safe deposit box not attached to wall or shelf - can be lifted & carried away.

Hotel is good placed and has a nice restaurant. I love the view from upper floors over the city of Rotterdam. Unfortunately the Hotel has no aircondition and so I had two hard nights to sleep in august.
