Big room, nice view, good position in front of tube and tram station. Cheap hotel.
No phone in the room, rooms not at the level of a 4* hotel.
Large spacious suite. Great view over the city. Fantastic value.
Room heating didn't work and were given a separate portable heater. Kitchenette was mentioned with hotel room without plates glasses cutlery. Kettle had to be requested from reception. For room keys €10 was charged so for 2 of us €20 when asked for receipt were not given. on Check out when asked for deposit the hotel staff stuck together and backed up the staff member who took the deposit and told me if I am not happy I can go
I room was surprisingly spacious. Loved the location right across the road from the metro. Close to some shops and take aways.
Staff did not make enough of an effort to provide me with an iron. The hotel was very busy and they said that all 30 irons had been handed out. I felt they really did not care.
The Art Hotel is really close to the Ahoy conference centre and the train stops right outside the hotel.
Style of hotel, Room and comfortable homely feel.
I would have liked a wider and more filling range of breakfast to last me the full day. Something to do or somewhere to go after a long day. sauna or reading area etc
Poor heating, Poor customer services
easy acces with down town
- method for payment - hotel and room not clean - staff of the hotel not propelly - one day no water and they don´t do nothing
the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The price was fair regarding the facilities. The restaurant was very good and cheap.
Kitchenette was empty so it was USELESS. We would not have come with forks, knives, spoons and plates!! There was just a micro-wave, but absolutely nothing to cook! Also there should have been a bathroom tub. As I said, the price was fair for what we had, but it was not what booking.com sold us! 4 star hotel? No way!!
40 euros a night is a joke Whilst not a 5 star hotel I found whole experience faultless
Waiting time at reception
Nice place, the staff was kind and responsive. I had a very large and confortable room for a reasonable price.
The ventilation in the room ceiling was rather noisy, so my first night was quite difficult. The reception did send someone to look into the problem, with best intentions but no effective means. In the end I managed to cover the space from which the air was getting out with scotch tape, so I could sleep the second night.
The location is directly by the Metro & tram; it is 15-20 minutes walk to the AHOY centre (where the ATP Tennis was on). The room was really a suite with a kitchenette and sitting room as well as bathroom (with bath!) and bedroom.
Bit unclear whether breakfast would be €7.50 (Booking.com site) or €15 (hotel room info sheet). I ate breakfast out anyhow! No beer on tap - little bottles of Heineken for €2.75. TV stations rather disorganised.
There is no luggage storage.
We asked for a different room after the first was reminiscent of a jail cell. The second was not half bad. It had a bath tub, couch and comfortable beds.
The first room was dirty, and minimal. The website blatantly lies about available amenities. There wasn't a microwave, blow dryer or toiletries. The kitchen was bare minimal. The room was tiny. Also the staff have very outdated system. We were woken up at 7am by someone drilling under our window on the 9th floor.
It was cheap, central and the bar stayed open late.
The reception made me wait 20 minutes to check in and 20 minutes to check out. They need to sort out their filing.
Friendly staff, location and good wifi.
The new owner has to take steps to improve administrative and cleaning routines. Rooms are not clean enough (yet) and checking in takes a lot of time.
PRICE & WIFI
The location is great for going to the Ahoy. One stop on the metro or walking distance. Parking in lot across the street was free (6 pm to 9 am) overnight and pretty cheap for the next day. Breakfast looks like a great deal for Euro 7.5 - we had a kitchen so brought our own. Next time we eat there.
location is fantastic.. rooms are comfortable and clean
The lights in the room was not working. Had to wait for 2 hours and make 3 calls to reception to get this repaired. There was no remote control for the TV. Had to request twice to get one and then was given a remote that did not work. They changed the remote next day again.
For the price this hotel is very good value
Hotel does not have a restaurant: the one that is there is a separate business and whilst good value it is all very confusing as the staff at check in could not tell me if I could charge to the room, pre order (and pay) for breakfast etc.
It is a pretty decent hotel if you need a place to stay for a couple of nights. Good location if you arrive by car as it is not located in the centre. Good value for money. Nice staff.
friendly personnel, clean room, low-priced dinner offers at restaurant
heating not working properly (far too cold in the room), dead light bulb, TV remote control not working
Room was freezing, heating off.
