the staff are very helpful in giving directions and sites to see, close to the area, i would like to thank the staff who pack my breakfast early in the morning before my flight on june 9, it was good for you stayin for your value of money.

The location was ok. The breakfast was very good.

The smell of the older building was bad. The towels were ripped up and absolutely no frills. It was definitely a budged hotel. We had to leave Amsterdam after only one night because my husband was not comfortable in that room.

Very close to the museums!and easy to get tram connection

Nice and clean hotel with good breakfast and friendly staff. It is not cheap but for Amsterdam standards it is good value for money. From past experiences in Amsterdam, I think it is difficult to find something better for less money (at least not in a central location).

It was a little bit noisy at night. The room walls are very thin and therefore we could hear our neighbors next door. This was a bit annoying at night.

The situation of the hotel is perfect - in a quiet location, near to museums, the flower market and offices. The hotel is small but very comfortable. You will find in it everything for a good relaxation - clean rooms, restaurant and lobby, a good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

Close to most museums, Leidsplein but it takes 10 min by tram to get to shopping area and Damm sq. Staff is really polite and helpful.

It was cold at nights and heater regulation was not available in the room (I had to call to the reception every day and ask for it).

A neat & small hotel with friendly personnel in a quiet location, some 30-minute walk from the downtown area and pretty close to the Museum Square.

You have to pay upon arrival, and they charge you additional 4 percent if you pay with your credit card. Other than that everything is ok for a short stay in Amsterdam.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, excellent customer service. Breakfast was also very nice.

The room was a little dusty

The staff were more than helpful. The rooms were exactly as described and perfect for our trip. Is in a very good location, not too far from where it all happens but far enough away to have good night sleeps. We had some noisy neighbours but that bores nothing on the hotel.

The stairs are very steep and being on the third floor made it tiring to get up to the room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful both before my arrival and during my stay. Every attempt was made to make sure that our needs were taken care of. Excelllent location and a good breakfast buffet included.

The free wi-fi was poor. The bath smell awful. They didn't change the towels.

It was easily accessable by public transport.

Staff were helpful and friendly. I had left a robe in the room I had stayed in and they found it and kept it for me to pick up when I returned.

The hotel is about a ten minute tram ride out of the centre (perhaps about a 45-60 minute walk from the Central Station), but only five to ten minutes from the Rijksmuseum. There is not a great range of places to eat close by. There are a few restaurants in a square across the canal but nothing very close if it's raining or snowing (except for a pancake and burger cafe). The area around the hotel is not very interesting for strolling around, and if you want a place where you can find a good restaurant or interesting shops, I think it would be better to go somewhere else (maybe closer to the 'Nine Streets' area). The breakfast was ordinary, nothing to look forward to. I stayed in a single room with a shower, sharing a toilet (with only one (double) room). The room was clean and adequate for sleeping in, with small desk, cupboard, small flat screen tv. However, I found no evidence of any special attention to the comfort of guests in the hotel. The room faced the back of office and apartment buildings (people hung washing on their back balcony), so there was no view, except if you looked down and to the side, where there was a garden of green bushes (no flowers). It might be nicer to stay in a room with a view overlooking the road, but from the sketch of the fire exit map of the hotel, there don't seem to be any single rooms on that side. A hand towel and a bath towel are provided, and a small bar of soap and a sachet of shampoo. There is no bath mat or wash cloth. There is only one pillow, although I didn't ask for another, and it may be the case that they have some if you do ask. The first day I was in the room the shower and sink both blocked up. However, when I told the front desk about it, it was fixed by the next day.

it's a really wonderful small hotel, reasonable budget, so friendly staff, close to center, close to tram station, you can walk everywhere what you want, espeacially great breakfast, so confortable bed also I loved annex building you will feel like your home. you must to stay here ")

It was in a very nice location. Very helpful and nice staff. Yummy breakfast. Very comfortable and nice.

The hotel has a good location, few minutes walking from tram stations. Also from some touristic points as Heineken brewery and Rijksmuseum. The room was small but with everything we need and a big window. Breakfast is included and really good! Staff is friendly and helpful, especially Kimo who gave us lots of good tips of what to do and where to go around.

Toilets are shared with other rooms on the same floor (total of 4 rooms on each floor), but I knew it would be shared whem I booked. It was maintained clean during my stay.

Nice and clean hotel with very good staff. I arrived after midnight and that was no problem. Room is small but clean and with a good bed. No streetnoise and breakfast was really good. They could help me also with info about the event I wanted to visit and a free map. I will recommand the hotel to my friends.

The very steep steps but lucky they had an elevator!
