Good value for money Good location
Funny smell in bathroom on arrival coming from bath and toilet and smell stayed until we left. Dirty pillows and short Curley hair found in bed!
Nice personal, top place, good breakfast
Dirty!!! Bathroom total dirty, mirrors in barhroom and bedroom dirty, floor in bedroom not clean....
Excellent location, close to everything by foot; friendly helpful staff; room was reasonable in size; good value for money.
Everything was quite old and not so clean, but still good value for money for a city like Amsterdam; a bit noisy - and also we had bad luck with noisy neighbours in the next room; wifi was very slow.
Staff was very friendly. The location was perfect, a minute away from where i needed to be.
The room was really old and just ugly. The bathroom was tiny and there was lots of rust everywhere, didn't even want to take a shower in there. Toilet was broken and the ventilation system which goes together with the light in the bathroom was deafening. Lot's of noise from outside. My colleague's room was much nicer, unfortunately for me there weren't any rooms left available to switch.
The staff was very helpful.
Looks nothing like the pictures at all! There is zero charm and the bathrooms stink of sewage. There was also a weird humming sound all night in the room.
Location is fantastic
Extra charges for credit card Not very clean bedding and towels
the reception team
big room, very friendly staff
noisy, steep stairs until getting in and out of the room. Really a nightmare do even climb the stairs, imagine carrying heavy bags...
I don't like everythinks...
Very expencive 120€ / night Not clean. Old furniture.
Location was very central. Room was good enough, what you should expect for this price/location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Can be very noisy if your window faces rembrantplatz.
The location is good. And we were able to leave our bags at the hotel before check in time. Also, clean.
It's pricey for what you get. Plus added cleaning charges once you're there.
- wifi signal is weak - no air conditioning - loud room - different room than the photo - 150 euros per day and just an attic
The location was awesome.
Very high and steep stairs. Dirty bed sheets. Very small bathroom.
Very clean and comfortable. The rooms are small but very nice and have everything you need; mini-bar, TV, etc. It's right on the Rembrantplein. Heaps of great restaurants there and a good vibe.
Yes, the stairs are steep but it's like that in every hotel in Amsterdam apparently.
Location was amazing inside the rembrant squre Staff was nice Near many bars and coffee shops
Bad starrs Small rooms No elavators
Location is excellent. Lovely, helpful staff. Will definitely come back.
Breakfast was a little too expensive.
Loud music late at night, Curtains didn't fit the window, Small shared bathroom, Unable to change the TV channel or volume
Hotel Atlanta is conveniently located on the booming Rembrandtsplein and surrounded by 24/7 restaurants, cafes and shopping. This square is an amazing -- and SAFE -- place to find yourself for a stay in Amsterdam. I wouldn't stay in any other neighborhood.
I'm accustomed to Amsterdam service style hotels, but this one is a bit more battered, weathered and unfriendly than others I've stayed in over the past 15 years. Cleaning was minimal throughout our four day stay, both in our room and in common areas. Hot water was hard to come by, and when we notified the front desk, we were basically scoffed at. Our first night was exceptionally warm and humid and the hotel room did not have any air conditioning other than a screen less window and a tabletop fan. Fortunately, it was cooler than normal in Amsterdam during our stay, because this level of humidity would have been unbearable in these barely ventilated rooms. Evening staff was friendly, but the male daytime employee working 8/16-8/18 was unfriendly to the point of being hostile. When we checked out on 8/18, we were told that we had to pay an additional "local taxes" fee -- in cash -- above and beyond the Booking.com authorization AND the second, hotel stay authorization that the hotel had already charged us. We were out of local currency, our cab was waiting outside, and the staff somewhat blindsided us with this last minute demand. It did not leave the best impression on us after spending four days here with no mention of this hidden charge. I expressed my concerns with the hotel management and never received acknowledgement or response over the past four weeks. Despite my initial excitement in finding a comfortable hotel in this Amsterdam neighborhood, I am reluctant to stay at Hotel Atlanta again.
Beds verry comfy
Great location, friendly helpful staff
No Tea/coffee in room
Room small .. have to go outside the room to use bathroom
*great location *friendly staff
*very small shared bathroom/shower (I opted to not shower while at this hotel to say the least) *Many floors/stairs (we were on the 4th floor the stairs are very small and it was hard to get our luggage to the top and bottom)
It's a great location in the heart of Amsterdam, easy to walk everywhere.
It wasnt the greatest of quality but we were only staying one night. So it was perfect for us
i have stayed at hotel atlanta four times. It has always been great
Location is great if your up for a good time in Amsterdam
Hygein of our room, bathroom and toilet was disgusting. Their was stains on our towels, sheets and pillows/ covers, multiple hairs found in the bed and amongst covers when we first arrived! Notified staff and they struggled to find clean linen!
