Hotel Atlas  

The two best things about the hotel Atlas are its location and free wi-fi. The hotel is located right next to the Vondel Park, and only a few blocks from the Museumplein, where there is public transportation to any part of the city and to Schiphol airport. It is in a quiet neighborhood, where there are many good restaurants. Also nice to have coffee & tea in the room. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water.

The staff was polite, but a bit aloof. The front door is often locked and the system to allow your key card to open it malfunctioned several times while we were there. When no one was at the front desk, guests had to wait outside until someone returned. The breakfast buffet had enough variety, but the quality was mediocre. The woman managing the kitchen couldn't keep up, and the food was constantly running out. The breakfast room is very small and crowded. We ate breakfast elsewhere on a few days.

Lovely building looking from the outside (art deco); it is so sorry that they did not preserve the inner fitting-out from that old times.

Breakfast room is too small - you are sitting very close one to another. Breakfast is very simple and you have only little choice. Don´t agree for a room in the basement - small, dark and musty smell in the floor. Other rooms will be better choice. The carpets should be cleaned from old spots !

Nice park next to the hotel.

Don't impressed by a hotel. It's not comfortable and not cute. 280 Euro for two nights is too much for that! Far from Red Light District. Poor breakfast. Ungracious staff. Don't have any feeling to come there back!

Good value for money in nice location by the Vondelpark with a tramstop just outside.

Price and location.

They charged the room the day we booked it and didn't even phone us to confirm. The rooms were really small and didn't provide shampoo etc. Breakfast buffet was very poor.

Nice location, all city attractions close by walk or the tram. Very near to museum district and Vodgelpark. Rooms are cozy and colourful.

Charge eur 3 per bag for storing luggage after checkout.

Its quiet location, convenient for walking access to various parts of the city; the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff; the provision of a substantial breakfast as part of the cost.

The great location near beautifull park,nice staff,quiet district, and the center of the city is not so far. And you can rent a bike right in the hotel

Location is very good.

Dark room with old furniture, dust is everywhere..Not pleasant smell in the room. Breakfast is very limited and breakfast room small.

The rooms were not cleaned properly. There were some dust and rubbish on the heating. The curtains seem to have not been washed for years. The furnitures are spoiled, broken and old fashioned. The breakfast was poor. The location was not so good. It was in the museum plein. Iand it was not so c otlose to Dam Square or the other monuments on foot.

Great location next Vodel park and tram. .....

Placed in wrong room. Up graded for last 3 days. Old thin grey towels. Not good!
