Location near Vondelpark Breakfast was ok

Never stay in this hotel! I am traveler, but never seen such an old&dirty hotel for such soum of money! The floor in the room was ugly dusty carpet with old spots. But the most owful where the blinders! We both, me and my man, got alergy rinitis there in the room. Outside everything was ok )) And also I didn't like our bed. We asket about one double bed, but they gave us two separete beds under one sheet. The matresses where also old and sagging. At this site it was written, that booking cancelation is free, but it is not true!!! They deducted whole amount from my card at the first booking day! We could not change our choice. Bad, too bad ((((

The stuff are very friendly. Gives many useful advice to us on Queens' day. Also, location is very good if you fancy to see ryktmuseum, Van Gogh and vondel park. 30 mins walk to central station, and 15 mins walk to Jordaan area.

It's not cheap. But fair price in Amsterdam.

Beautiful building and great location, just near the museums.

Cramped room, urine odor in bathroom and bedroom. Wouldn't stay there again.

Just one towell was provided. No bath mat. Everythink needs update.

The hotel staff were very sweet and helpful. Loved the old feel of the hotel and it's location.

The bathrooms were a bit small, but that's to be expected in an older, European hotel. The bed was a bit hard. The mattress might be changed to something a bit more softer. Maybe have the TVs with usb input so that movies can be watched on them.

Friendly and helpful staff. There is tram station just outside the hotel, which is really convenient for us to go to anywhere in Amsterdam. Wifi connection is good.

The room is small. There was some little small white cotton stuck to the quilt, but they changed it for me after being told. In all, it's worthwhile for this price in Amsterdam.

Very nice small hotel in old typical house of Amsterdam. Located in a chic district of Amsterdam near amazing Vondelpark. Very nice atmospyre in hotel and around it. Good location, close to central city. Price is also good.

Anyday will highly recommend Atlas and stay always when visiting Amsterdam.

The staff was incredibly helpful. The location was good, as it was just outside the city center, and it was right near a tram stop. I could easily walk into the tourist parts of the city. Nice sized bathroom with a tub. The free wifi worked very well.

My room in particular needed some upkeep. Wall paper was peeling of the walls and the bathroom had fixtures that were starting to fall off. The room had a weird chemical smell when I first got in, so I opened the window to air it out for awhile, despite the winter temperatures. However, these issues are surface problems, and might not be an issue with everyone.

Location is perfect.

Rooms are small and a little worn.

The room was very very small, the bed was dreadful and House keeping came at 9:00am and woke us up every morning.

We stayed with friends who had been recommended this hotel. Truned out to be correct as very had a great time at Atlas.

Stayed before was as super as before, we loved it.

Hotel is a Gem, thus the hotel you need when in a new city. Small, comfortable, highly efficient staff, just perfect stay.

Another perfect stay, most enjoyable trip and Atlas hotels makes it even better. Great rooms next to the Park.

Everything was Excellent, the Manager was very helpful so was all the staff. Hotel being next to the park and our room had a nice view of it as well made our stay excellent. Will come back!

I liked the area and the room was comfortable.

Being greeted with a whine about us being late (C.11.30 ) after an evening trying to get a towed away car back from the subburbs and then not being able to pick up my goods from the middle of the canal zone on a Saturday evening as lla road were closed, without being warned by the organisers...was not a great welcome. I understand they have a time, but if you run a hotel, then you may just have to put up with travellers who are undergoing stressful times due to unfamiliar territory and processes and you really do not need to add to the stress. Also when a radiator has a trickling sound all night, and a guest informs the receptionist, perhaps they could respond with something more than "thankyou for telling me". What I was saying that it was unacceptable. But then I found the attitude of every hotelier in Amsterdam unwelcoming and awkward. Clearly there are too many tourists and they think they don't have to be accommodating. Well I will not hurry back and I will post on Tripadvisor, etc And why don't Amsterdam hotels just include breakfast in the price? And bed and breakfast places for that matter! And the city tax?

The location was good -- right next to Vondelpark, where I went bike-riding in the mornings. Nice cafes nearby, and close enough to the city center for me.
