Staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was fantastic - right across from Centraal Station and close to tons of public transport making it super easy to get around town. Rooms were good for the price - perfect for those needing a place to sleep and shower. And the breakfast in the Pullman Lounge was a nice way to start the day. |

My kids loved the loft area that they slept in and my youngest loved the toys. No parking. Parked in a lot a few blocks away and paid 50 euro. |

The price and location of the hotel suited us as we were only staying in Amsterdam for one night. The bed covers were a little worn but appeared to be clean. I was a little uneasy about the access to our room (109) as I could not easily identify were the fire escape was. |

We liked the elevator, staff was very friendly and knowledgable, ready to give advise when asked. Breakfast was also great and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. |

Hotel staff was great; room was clean; loved that it had a private bath-hard to find in european cities; right in front of the central station, and really close to the touristy areas. |

Pleasant hotel, with a railway theme; across the road from Centraal Station, so you don't have to look far for your hotel on arrival. My room, 402, had a nice view of the square & station. |

The lollies on the reception desk we delicious. The train theme is perfect we really liked that! The service was good all the time. A water boiler would have been nice because we needed some boiled water for the baby. There were no fresh fruits or vegetables with the breakfast. |

The A Train hotel is in a superb location, directly opposite the main railway station, ideal for the coach drop off from Rotterdam (Europoort). The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast very good and the staff are very helpful. |

It was close to the central station and the trams Too expensive for the services provided. You had to pay 7 euros a day to watch even cnn on tv, you had to pay for the internet, there was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom and I had to go and buy some from the supermarket, the breakfast included barely the basics. |

A very pleasant, well located, family run hotel. The beds were somewhat soft for our taste but very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. A very nice hotel which we would highly recommend |

Handy location, friendly staff, quirky but functional decor and good value for money for a prime city centre hotel. Plus got free upgrade! The lighting in the room was a bit dim.. |

It's located slam bang in the centre of Amsterdam and even more conveniently, it's about 5min walk on foot from the train station. Albeit this time, the double room was tiny (for 2 people) it had all the necessities in place. Last year, the hotel also provided a mini kettle as well as tea and coffees (instant) in the rooms; this year there was none of that. I suppose that's a side-effect of the recession....hopefully this service will be brought back once we are through the worst. |
