The old building is fantastic . rooms are excellent with great views The resturant is better than anything we have seen in our country . Worth the trip just to eat there We were initailly in the annex , which is 50 meteres up the road in a pavement side flat with no view . We discussed with the hotel & were able to move to the main building - thank you so much for that. . This was more expensive but worth it . I would have been disapppointed with the annex , but the main building made the holiday

Especially liked the dining room and the attentiveness of the service. Special dinner excellent value and one of the highlights of our stay. Not much not to like about Auberge de Campveerse Toren and Veere, except perhaps the full carrillon of bells through the night.. but all part of the character of the town. Loved it.

Beautiful hotel and location.great to cycle if you take or rent a bike. Bed was two singles and tended to fall apart..separate.

Great location just by the sea, historical site and pittoresque township with "genius loci". Verrse itself is a little gem, but hotel is not something special. Beacuse of historical building very step and narrow staircase, nobody even propsed some help with luggages. Room little obsolete and small for the price.

Le village est charmant et notre séjour aurait pu y être idyllique, le petit déjeuner était impeccable cet hôtel n'a en réalité que 4 chambres, la réservation indiquait comme adresse le numéro 2, en fait ils ont des chambres dans toute la rue voisine et nous avons été logés dans une des annexes au 19, endroit sinistre, chambre minuscule, vue sur une cour arrière, éclairage défectueux, mannes de linge et objets divers dans le hall, pour 130 euros indiques sur le site + 9.5 euros de taxes c'est une véritable honte et une vraie arnaque, quand j'ai soulevé tout ca à la réception, il m'a été répondu qu'il leur était impossible de mettre sur le site toutes les photos ni de loger tout le monde dans les 4 chambres du bâtiment principal. J'avais mis le prix pour avoir une chambre spacieuse et une vue au moins sur le port et ca a été un véritable fiasco.C'est la première fois que je tombe sur une telle arnaque organisée. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est vraiment surfait et le rapport qualité/prix est la aussi désastreux. Cela devrait être interdit de montrer des photos d'un lieu et le loger les clients tout à fait ailleurs.

De locatie is uitstekend; ontbijt was ook heel goed; bed uitermate confortabel. - Het was niet duidelijk dat we niet in het kasteel zouden logeren maar in een van de huisjes; de kamer (nr 12) op zich was ok (hoewel erg klein) maar er waren drie lampen kapot, het schoonmaken was niet erg ok (gordijnen niet eens opengemaakt, zeep niet vervangen) en de entree in het huisje (Wtaerschip) is nogal gloomy. Verder was de service bij het diner in het restaurant ontzettend langzaam: we kregen een uur na aankomst ons voorgerecht (I portie oesters dus niet veel tijd vragen qua bereiding). Al met al viel het ons toch een beetje tegen.

Perfecte ligging. Wij hadden een kamer in de dependance, maar wij vonden dit geen probleem. Goede kamer; wel gehorig. Goed restaurant (maar de prijs is niet helemaal in verhouding met de kwaliteit. Goed verzorgd ontbijt. De bediening op het terras laat wat te wensen over. Wij hebben zeker 40 minuten moeten wachten voor er überhaupt iemand naar onze tafel kwam. Voldoende personeel was zeker aanwezig (zij zagen ons ook zitten) maar zij waren vooral erg druk met elkaar in gesprek (een gesprek wat voor ons als bezoekers goed te volgen was)! Niet erg professioneel.. jammer....

De kamer is mooi. Het uitzicht geweldig. Prima locatie. Het is een gebouw met historie. Het restaurant was twee avonden volgeboekt. Je moet buitenom naar het restaurant voor het ontbijt. De badkamer was slecht verlicht.

Mmmmh je dois avouer que nous n'avons pas aimé grand'chose. La chambre était joliment décorée mais avec des soi-disantes antiquités, en réalité des breloques. Le personnel était très accueillant. Le rapport qualité-prix de cet hôtel est désastreux! Nous avons payé la chambre 150€ pour une nuit. Pour ce prix et au vu de la description sur le site de l'hôtel, nous nous attendions à un logement de qualité. A l'arrivée, que des mauvaises surprises. La chambre donnait sur la seule et unique rue du village donc très passante. En plus nous étions au rdc et donc tous les piétons avaient une vue plongeante sur notre chambre!! Nous fondions nos derniers espoirs sur le petit-déjeuner (d'autant qu'à partir de 21.15, aucun des 2 restaurants du village ne servent plus à dîner un samedi soir!). Hélas, céréales molles, fromage et jambon sous cellophane nous attendaient... Bref, si la chambre avait été à 75€, aucun problème. A 150€, j'ai l'impression de m'être faite avoir!

Chambre éloignée dans une maison à 100 mètres de l'hôtel mais spacieuse avec jardin et terrasse. Erreur dans l'addition du souper! Plafond de la chambre mal insonorisé. On entend le bruit de pas assez fort

Mooie ligging aan de kade. We hadden een kamer in een bijgebouw. Kamer was prima, schoon, mooie doucheruimte, lekkere bedden. Uitstekend verzorgd ontbijt, vriendelijke bediening. Nogal gehorig, en veel te duur. Prijs stond in geen verhouding tot de grootte en ligging van de kamer. We hadden een luxe, ruime kamer verwacht in het hoofdgebouw, maar kregen een kleine kamer in een pand naast het hotel.

Een zeer sfeervol hotel in een authentiek plaatsje als Veere. Een fijne plek om te verblijven. Het valt mij nogal eens op dat de kranen in de badkamer in diverse hotels (ook in de campveerse toren) niet altijd goed werken. Hier zouden de hoteleigenaren naar mijn mening beter op moeten toezien.

Wunderbarer Frühstücksraum mit Blick aufs Wasser,gutes Frühstück.Das Städtchen Veere an sich zauberhaft. Winziges Zimmer nicht im Haupthaus, sondern im Watership,sehr unbequem.Zugige Fenster (sehr unangenehm,da Bett vielleicht 20 cm neben Fenster),kaum Erwärmung trotz Heizkörper auf höchster Stufe.Steile,enge Treppen.Zerrissene Kofferablage.Für korpulente bezw.ältere Menschen (ersteres sind wir zum Glück nicht) absolut ungeeignet.

De kwaliteit van het diner en de bereidwilligheid van het personeel om de gasten bij te staan. Het verblijf in een andere locatie dan de Auberge zelf en het 's avonds voor het diner en 's morgens voor ontbijt de straat op te moeten om naar het restaurant te gaan.
