Situat al centre i a prop de l'estació central. L'habitació de matrimoni que teníem estava bé. Bon esmorzar. Recomenable. El bany és una mica massa petit. Preu massa alt, com la major part d'hotels a Amsterdam |

breakfast was included in the price, we were kept waiting 10 minutes to check in because one of the reception staff was outside smoking and talking to friends! we had a problem checking out, i had already paid for the stay online, but the boy on reception was very unhelpfull and did not want to sort the problem, and i had to pay again, i had to sort the problem on the telephone when i got back to England, all in all not a very satisfactory situation! |

The breakfast. The way they treated us as their guests, the way that the staff talked down on us and did not make us feel important at all, just an overall bad experience with Avenue Hotel. The main problem really was the cancellation policy. Felt it was very misleading and that we couldn't speak to anyone about it, because no one could help us. |

I got a friendly welcome off the staff upon arriving, our room was ready earlier than expected which was really convenient. Housekeeping knocked on our door quite early on the morning of our departure, however check out is at 12pm so it was a disturbance, housekeeping was quite pushy, also we paid for the room upon arrival but when we were checking out the staff at reception tryed to make it believed that we had not paid, this delayed our departure and was quite stressful trying to explian (language barrier). |

the buffet breakfast... they have a really good offer of food and fruits and salad meal or sweet. the carpet of the room was awful. |

A business trip, so free WiFi was very important and location. Very near to restaurants etc, but on a quiet street so no noise. No tea or coffee facilities in the room |

It was 2nd time we stayed here. Everything are expected :) - friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast (comparing to others - even the best one), location. |

The staff was very friendly and most helpful. The room was very adequate with open windows to the outside for fresh air. Location halfway between Centraal Station and Dam Square ideal for being in the heart of Amsterdam. Not one thing |

The location of the hotel was excellent for exploring Amsterdam. Thought the money we paid for the room was not worth what we got. |

the hotel is convenient and accessible from travel point of view. Breakfast is excellent as was other facilities within the hotel. Would perhaps tea/coffe facilities within the room. |

Great breakfasts - always being replenished. Staff helpful. Location was great. Rooms quite small - had a triple room and one of the beds was a pull down. When it was down there was very little room to negotiate your way to bathroom etc. Kept tripping over one of the legs. |

The hotel is vey centrally located only a few minutes walk from the main train station. The bike rental and dinner package were very good value. The dinner restaraunt was excellent. The underfloor heating in the hotel made the room very warm. |

The location was great. Good breakfast. A bit expensive for what you got, but can't knock it too much because of the location. Also, the key consistently did not work the elevator, so that had to be fixed frequently, but that was only a minor annoyance. |

I really enjoyed my stay at the Avenue Hotel,The staff was very helpful and the bicycle package was excellent with the pack lunch included,breakfast was good & The evening meal was even better also very clean and tidy rooms will definitely recommend to others and will stay again my self. |

Convenient to transport to many tourist attractions, close to station, easy walking distance to some shopping areas and the centre of old Amsterdam. Good security. |

The location is great as it is within easy walking distance of Central Station and Damrak but also far enough from the noise and hustle and bustle. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. We had the cycle package which worked out great for value. |
