A great hotel in comparison with other 3* hotels. Great location that is very quiet in the heart of Amsterdam. It has good quality of cleanliness of the room and bathroom.also, it provides a good breakfast that I think is quite suitable for all type of people. I stayed in the second floor and the WiFi internet was quick. Really this hotel was a big part of my joy and comfort in this trip to Amsterdam according to its price, location, cleanliness and breakfast. I highly recommend it. There is not tea & coffee maker.... If you leave your luggage there is no numbers to be protected, and the hotel is not responsible for it in case of loss or stealing.

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for!! Good price, the room was big for one person, the bathroom was clean and the breakfast was great!!! Even thetel was a main road,it was really quiet!! I would definately recommend it and I would stay again!!

An excellent location for a city break - close to the station and other transport links all within walking distance. Hotel is clean and staff very pleasant and helpful. Good breakfasts. Would recommend without reservation. Very limited lounge area - but who goes to Amsterdam to sit around !

The hotel rate is very affordable. Location is also very strategic. The buffet breakfast is fantastic. I believe that you have to improve on the bathroom. When a person takes a bath, the water flows to the entire bathroom. There should be a floor divider or enclosure for the shower and the toilet bowl.

Location is excellent. Very convenient to have internet access to confirm flights etc. Breakfasts are excellent and we appreciated having a room on the 6th floor which was quiet. Coffee & vending machines is a plus given that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Furniture etc is old and there is no bar fridge in the room. It is fairly pricey for what you get but worth it because of its location which is extremely convenient.

Charged my card 2 months in advance ! then charged me again on check out and refused to refund or take action on the matter it took a total 7 or 8 calls from myself and booking.com to get a refund.....i also showed my credit card statement on the night of check in and they took 2 ! copies Very very Bad service anyone who removes funds without authorisation has got to be suspect inparticualr when they will not refund

Overall I enjoyed mt stay at the Avenue hotel, staff were pleasant, breakfasts were ok, and the room was clean. The only thing was that the room was a little cold, I don't suffer too much, but it would be an issue for many I feel, but thats not to pur down the hotel, it was good apart from that.

Location was great, close to central train station and shopping. Price was reasonable. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was pretty good. The hotel was pretty stinky. There were no smoking signs everywhere, but clearly the lobby and hallways wreaked of smoke. The rooms didn't smell bad though, thank god.

The twin room was just right for a solo traveller and bed was so soft and comfortable The bathroom was great except the door of the shower is halfway and the water from shower spills to the whole bathroom. There is no separator of the shower to the toilet and sink. The shower is really perfect!

The bed is very comfortable as well as the blanket. I love the big windows. The shower is good. I didn't like the fact that the bedroom didn't offer stuff's like tooth paste, dental floss, bathing cap, conditional hair or a kettle to make coffee or a tea whenever I wanted.
