Good breakfast , great location and public parking is just next to the hotel

Avenue was a decent 3* hotel. We had a treble room which was of a decent size and had a full kitchen with a dishwasher; although we didn't use this at all during the trip. Shower was fairly powerful and there was a flat screen TV on the wall with BBC1 and BBC World Service. Location is good as this is a five minute walk from Dam Square and a three minute walk from Central Station. Breakfast was decent.

Some signs of wear in the bathroom, could do with a paint touch up but nothing too serious.

I was very satisfied with the location, cleanliness, well equiped room, helpfull staff.

Some noise late at night coming from the street due to proximity of the hotel to nearby pubs.

1.The deal I got on-line at booking.com(40% off). 2.The smile at arrival. 3.the size of the room (quite large for the centre of Amsterdam!).

1.The shower head being broken and leaking. 2.The requested wake up call being performed 30 minutes too late!

central location 10 min walk from central station. Hotel has free wi-fi but you need to ask for code and give room no. Security is excellant you require a plastic key to get in to lift and open room.Staff can speak english.

The location of The Avenue was ideal, within walking distance of attractions and very close to Centraal Station. Plenty of choice at breakfast (the tropical juice recommended) a relaxing atmosphere within the hotel itself.

The single room (504) was very small and narrow and altough I'm reasonably slim I felt that the single bed should have been slightly wider. Also, one budget quality pillow ? The cost of 444 euros for 3 nights seemed over priced for such a small room.

It is within walking distance (about 5 min) from Amsterdam Centraal Station. It has a considerable wide spread of food for breakfast.

The main road directly outside the hotel is currently under construction and it can be somehow noisy at night. The door lock does not seem to be working an it is very difficult to turn the door knob.

Location! very near Amsterdam Centraal and Dam Square. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast is good. quite clean and comfortable.

The room was dark. The lights were not working - only one of the bedside light was operational. The bathroom was tiny .

Clean and quiet, with a great shower and a good hot buffet breakfast. Very central location and a great price. I read reviews saying the room was small... Well yes it was, but for this price you don't expect a penthouse. For a short city break what more would anyone need?

No kettle for tea or coffee in the room.

Close to the attractions and to the transportation facilities. Polite and helpful staff. Nice breakfast service...

The beds and the pillows were not comfortable. Very small single beds and you don't have the option to select between a twin or a double room. Secondly I noticed that the Hotel charged to my credit card the amount that I was going to pay in USD. But in my booking via Booking.com the settled price was in EURO. I informed the Hotel last night when I noticed it. It may not be a big difference in a two-days stay, but this is not a fair transaction. I am expecting a response from the hotel why this is the case.

The location is ideal and the breakfast started your day

The fact that I was awakened by other tenants at 10pm 12am and 3am. Need security to walk the floors once in a while. Some people are still smoking in the rooms. Also the curtains for your showers have to be adjusted to prevent the water from leaking all over the bathroom floor.

Very convenient at less than 500 meters from Amsterdam Centraal Station. Good restaurants around. Quiet. Have been there 4 times during the last 3 years

The last room was very small. Not enough space for me and my two large suitcases. Was in transit to Africa for 6 weeks.

I like the free wi-fi, the sweets on the counter and the breakfast. Oh and the bed is very comfortable

It is a bit noisy in the mornings with the trams but I think it was just the location of my room
