a very enjoyable experience, great location being in walking distance of Dam Square and other tourist attractions. The staff were extremely professional, helpful and freindly - would deffinately recommend and will visit again. |

i really did feel at home. i like being able to drink tea, coffee or soft drinks whenever i want with out having to worry about being charged for each item. i like the free internet downstairs and the living room concept |

The staff provide friendly and excellent service. The Hotel position is first class. The decor is subdued, while at the same time classy. Excellent breakfast. I did not like leaving the hotel so soon. |

The only problem we had was with booking.com not forwarding our details to the hotel so it took a long time to check in. If booking.com had done their job properly our stay would of been far less hassle. No wine in the bedroom mini bars. |

We enjoyed the all inclusive nature of our stay at this very centrally located Hotel. Even though this Hotel was centrally located visitors will still enjoyed peace and quiet. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful and take the time to explain what is available to their guests. Extensive breakfast choice, great for vegetarians. |

This is a very good hotel - positioned right in the downtown next to everything; service is very good; free bar and mini-bar; no own restaurant - but plenty of good and inexpensive places around; strong recommendation to see Amsterdam |

The quality of the breakfast foods, the free all day bar and tea/coffee, the location and the size of the room we were finally given after misfiring on the first room are all very positive points. The staff, save one or two, are all very friendly and helpful. Its a good place if you are looking for a "can't be bothered" holiday! The housekeeping staff and cleanling levels are not good - if you are particular about things you will have to specifically ask for certain jobs to be done, shower caps to be given, etc. Also the fact that in the living area you are not allowed to eat anything other than the meagre cheese platter the hotel provides in the evening, inspite of there being no restaurant on premises or room service makes it difficult. Certain staff members have a terrible attitude towards their work and seemed lazy. |

The friendly, homely 'home away from home' atmosphere. The excellent position for shopping and sightseeing and proximity to restaurants and cafes. And the 'inclusive' nature of the Living area. |

The free use of the mini bar and the bar/coffee in the living room area. The staff performed their duties well above the average hotel staff, providing friendly and useful advise. A shuttle service to and from the train station, would be an added benefit. It is not so easy for older travellers to manouver cases on and off the tram and across the cobbled streets. Especialy while the building works are taking place in Amsterdam. |

The staff were very friendly, attentive but did not intrude. Nothing was any trouble. The rooms were lovely - much better than staying nearer to the town centre. Having the free mini bar and drinks in the lounge was wonderful. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel and we are very fussy! |

Well located, comfortable, friendly, efficient and all the drinks were free - excellent! We would definitely go back to this hotel if we return to Amsterdam. Nothing really. Oh, I just remembered, the advertised breakfast pancakes were not available. |

This was a very well run hotel, with a very warm and helpful staff. We especially enjoyed the "all inclusive" nature. We will surely stay there again, and would advise others to do so as well. |

Beautiful rooms with great "art deco-ish" design, friendly and helpful staff, great location. Very near the major sites as well as the tram should you not be able to walk. Free internet access and computers available in the lobby. |

The hotel staff was very efficient and always willing to help. The hotel was nicely decorated and clean. The breakfasts were outstanding. We were able to order a hot breakfast every morning. The tram lines 24 and 16 were just outside the hotel so getting everywhere was very convenient. The floating Flower Market was just on the next corner. The location was excellent. |

Friendliness of all hotel staff, the feeling that I was staying at someone's home rather than a hotel. The complimentary drinks and snacks in the Lounge were great. Due to the central location of the hotel, it was nice to be able to return with shopping and stop for a coffee or a glass of wine before venturing out for more shopping! Lots of restaurants close by. |
