Barbizon Apartments

The reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The apartment itself was spacious and very clean with TV, dishwasher, iron, dryer, and the usual microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. Great place to stay in the real heart of Amsterdam close to great shopping, night clubs, restaurants, museums and many other attractions.

It is very noisy area during the night, I will not recommend for the light sleepers.

Location is perfect.Also apartment inside is really good,rooms are clean and spacious.You can find lots of bar and restaurant very close to apartment.

If you want to sleep early,it is impossible before 1am or 2am.There is always noise is coming from bars.Also you can not do anything with basic internet so i bought premium internet.It is not possible to connect VPN with premium internet.Also it is very slow even with premium internet.

Food at the hotel was quite good.

Noise - this is the first hotel I've ever stayed at with ear phones provided by each bed. The street noise is bad enough, but it's made worse by windows that don't seal properly - this was the case on both levels of the apartment.

Our fridge did not work for the whole week we was there and the beds were very uncomfortable and we had 1 English Channel that work

I liked the location, it was right across the central station and close to the Dam square. Breakfast was good too but almost the same food every day not much variety.

The noise/loud music from the bar downstairs almost every night. There was no elevator and the stair case isn't easy to handle luggage on but the hotel did provide help when it came to carrying/bringing luggage to and from the apartment. There wasn't enough fresh air getting into the apartment, I couldn't get to open the windows in the living area. In addition, there was no washing machine for clothes and only a microwave/oven which isn't the best to use.

A very spacious and convenient apartment with a small but fully equipped kitchenette. Location is very good (close to the central train station, metro, tram and bus stations and in the center of old Amsterdam regions).

It is indicated on Booking.com page and in the received booking confirmation from Booking.com that "No deposit will be charged". However, the manager at the reception required not only the full payment in advance (while checking in) but a deposit 100 euros. I showed booking confirmation from Booking.com but all was in vain. I think that Booking.com should punish Barbizon Apartments for the unilateral changes in apartments' policy.

Spacious room, friendly staff, good facilities and excellent location.

The internet connection was expensive but terrible, particularly when you are travelling in business. The apartment has steps and no lift. The room is cleaned only 3 times a week. The lights in the living room are very low.

Es un apartamento de 2 habitaciones, baño y salón de 25 metros cuadrados con cocina americana, q tenía hasta lavavajillas. Era mejor de lo q me esperaba, ya q pertenece al nh de la propia calle pfintergaz. El personal excelente, y la ubicación, a unos 200 metros de la estación central.

Los inconvenientes, q era un primero sin ascensor y subir a mi hija y el carrito era costoso, y q al lado hay un bar q pone la música altísima hasta las 2-3 de la mañana.

Великолепное расположение, в самом историческом центре, рядом с основными достопримечательностями города. Общественным транспортом ни разу не пользовались. Аппартаменты представляют собой небольшую уютную двухкомнатную квартиру в типичном амстердамском доме. Спальня, гостиная с кухонным уголком (холодильник, эл.плита, микроволновка, набор посуды итп), большой санузел и коридор.

Даже затрудняюсь что то придумать, может быть, что забыли у нас однажды прибрать, но после звонка в ресепшин все моментально исправили.

Жили с подругой в конце июля. Сняли апартаменты на неделю, чем очень довольна: уютно.. Окна выходили на город, поэтому по вечерам было чуть шумновато, но нам это не мешало. В номере были беруши. Шикарная ванная, к ней нет никаких претензий.Удобная мини-кухня: есть и посуда и утварь. Просторная гостинная (она же спальня). Отличное расположение - 5минут от вокзала. Вьезжать надо через отель,но об этом никто не пишет.

в подтверждении бронирования указана сумма, в которую входят: проживание, 2 налога и интернет в номере + депозит 50евро в день. В итоге депозит был втрое меньше, но при выезде оказалось, что налоги не входят в изначальную сумму. На кухне отсутствовали соль-перец, масло и соусы. Также не было средств для мытья посуды руками - только 3 таблетки для посудомойки. и еще какой-то умник засунул разделочные доски в дальний угол, поэтому не дайте себя обмануть - они там есть =)

удобное месторасположение, большой номер, хорошо оснащенная кухня (включая посудомоечную машину), просторный санузел. на последнем этаже множество окошек в крыше. чай, кофе, фильтры для кофейника, таблетки для посудомойки принесли сразу после заселения.

очень крутая лестница без лифта, людям с колясками подняться будет проблематично. особенности с уборкой: за 6 дней убрались только один раз, но при заселении в ванной было штук 15 полотенец, так что проблемой это не явилось. заселение на ресепшн Barbizon palace. мы об этом информации не имели, пришлось поискать.

близкое расположение к вокзалу. кухня оборудованен всем необходимым.

отдыхали с 22 по 29 апреля 2012 в 706 номере. заселили на час позже в 16 -00, т.к номер не убрали. освещение в номере, кроме санузла, ужасное. на потолке в комнате две малюсенькие лампочки по 40 ватт из которыз одна перегорела. остекление в номере одностекольное, поэтому все что происходит на улице одновременно происходит и в вашем номере. окно с права не закрывалось приблизительно на 1 см. в виду того, что было достаточно тепло, а шума от этого не убавится постарался забыть об этом. на второй день заметили , что дверь холодильника не закрывается плотно и попросили на ресепшен устранить это. никто не пришел до отьезда. на третьи сутки у нас появился поднос с принадлежностями для посудомойеи, фильтры для кофеварки, 2 бутылки воды, порционные сливки и ешё что-то и ко всему этому прилагалось письмо за личной подписью шефа отеля - были удивлены расторопностью.

Fully enjoyed the stay at Barbizon Apartments. Great value for money. The appartment was clean and nice, located perfectly - in the walking distance from central train station and not far from the main toursit attractions and districts. When I booked I expected a small apartment but i was pleasantly surprised that i get an apartment with 3 rooms - even too much for a single person. Overall I was fully satisfied with the stay.

Nothing much,big screen tv,but no channels worth the watch

It was basicly an apartment crammed in to the attic. There was no fire escape. The only thing good was the view of the canals from the big window. There was no elevtor. I am almost positive that the tiny stairs with an illegal angle that we had to use every time we went out has injured someone before us. The kitchen is out of an old horror movie. The bathroom was the best part of the room. Maybe if I was a Hobbit ,and was backpacking in Europe it could be okay,ohh wait It would take a day to get up to my room on the 2nd floor.!!! They dont care about booking.com rules,they would not except your res.My friend used his name and they wrote my reservation off and gave him the room. So basicly If someone else would of got there before my friend.the apt. Would of been taken. I got there a day late, and my booking.com res did not exist anymore??? You need to take them off your list

La ubicación es perfecta, la habitación tiene todo lo necesario.

El precio es demasiado alto y el los 9 días que estuvimos sólo pasaron por la habitación el primer día, ni nos cambiaron las toallas ni nada...increible!!!
