Chaotic restaurant. Not acceptable to have dinner with 8 people and three get their food when the rest is nearly done.
The bed was very comfortable
One staff member who failed to say good afternoon asked if it was my first stay, my response was yes and then did not explain why she asked the question, she was leaving me at the desk when after some time her colleague asked me if he could help, I explained that the lady was helping me where he said that he was taking over. The lady made me very unwelcome and failed to apologise even she was standing 2 metres from her colleague, she was also telling one of her colleagues off in front of me which I assume she has a senior role there (not a good role model in my opinion ). It is also not very clear that you have to cross a busy road with no possibilities to cross a zebra crossing or anything like that, not pedestrian friendly, hotel is only good if you travel by car or taxi as the metro station is quite a walk and spooky at night as you pass only a sort of industry area, don't walk there on your own at night!
Bathroom facilities, price
breakfast and access to comedy central
bit dirty paint hanging off the roof of the shower, and room was not made up properly
Actually I has been satisfied with everything - staff, cleanliness, comfort. I suggest to choose this hotel to all travelers.
It wasn't easy to find the place where hotel is. Also it was difficult to find parking places inside garage.
breakfast price too high
excellent staff and great facility, location quite good as well
room was spacious
food of the restaurant was not good (frozen soup, rice not cooked, etc.) floor doors were noisy (we could hear it everytime somebody was getting on the floor)
Comfort Free Parking 800 metres from Metro station
Not part of the night bus's itinerary 800 metres from Metro station
they don't have double beds
Other than that comfort and etc was good, location was fine only 10min on metro
above average... Except for the staff which were really bland and boring, didn't make any effort with anyone that I saw staying there and hardly greeted anyone either.
The value for money
The staff were approachable and had an attitude of: I would rather not be working here.
-free garage parking -cheap and relatively close to the subway -average to slow wi fi, but works in rooms -clean room
-debited my card 3 days prior to my arrival with two different sums, even though I made 2 reservations for one night each -even though they were really friendly, it was difficult to get the staff's attention
Wifi, smoking lounge
Noise of ventilation in the bathroom, needs more cleaning under beds
Good location for someone with car. V close to ring road and5 to 10 minute walk to metro sstation for access to city centre. the walk to the station takes you past a huge student residence built of containers. And then there's the gaol. It looks fairly secure with high wall and moat. Difficult to imagine how someone managed to put graffiti on the walls. I guess they had a boat.
Staff, though pleasant enough, weren't much use in giving information and advice about tourist facilities and trips. The room was a wee bit battered. Could do with better maintenance. Ok ish, but not what it should be
The bed was really good and the blanket was soft and thick. We got good nightsleep. The tv had many stations and with english language too which is different to many european hotels.
The water stream of shower was bad, the hot water takes long time to come. We found two small bugs in our room. When we asked for a extra pillow, our request was rejected.
Staff is very friendly
It smells with marihuana in a bathroom. Towels are awfully dirty, it seems that they don't know how to wash them
the room was good and wi fi as well
the staff was very indiferent with us
Prize/quality ratio Personal Cleanness Underground parking for free! For 1-3 nights would go there anytime again, for longer stay probably consider other option.
Location (despite it is not that tragic ~20 minutes to center) It is close to train rails and street (a bit noisy, depends where exactly your room is)
The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The blackout curtains meant we had a fantastic night sleep and the room was very clean.
The only issue with the hotel was the directions from the metro station. There are two ways to exit the station and if you take the correct exit, the directions are very clear. However we took the wrong exit as there was nothing to indicate which exit to take. From there it was impossible to work out how to get back to the hotel. I would recommend that the directions mention which exit. For instance, if coming from Centraal, turn right on the platform after leaving the train and take that station exit.
Check in, attitude of some of the staff
Locked parking. Friendly staff. WiFi.
Nearest subway station was 1km away and the roads leading there where rather scary at night. The card key system is used on every door and is quite annoying. Especially on the elevator. It takes some time and explanation to have it all figured out.
Staff and facilities
Overall easy to reach and functional hotel. Private parking, very good! staff I have met was friendly and ready to help. Spacious rooms and fairly equipped.
Toilet paper was lacking in the room. Very expensive breakfast for what your get.
Shower was powerful and hot. Free parking.
Broken light in our room was not just an inconvenience but also posed a safety risk with exposed wires and a broken glass bulb. No complimentary soap in bathroom, only shampoo (would have preferred soap to shampoo). Too far to walk into town and still a fair trek to the metro station (which does have regular trains however).
