The location was great...not in the thick of things, but in a lovely area of the Wyck near the train station. The hotel design was cool and comfortable and the beds were cozy.

The hotel (not the Residence) had thin walls so you heard every single door slam (the only way to close them was to slam them it seemed). In the morning it was painful as we were on holiday and didn't want to be woken by the housekeeping staff at 9am.

The renovation of this 100 year old hotel was complete and excellent. The restaurant had an excellent meal for Easter Sunday. The serving staff were outstanding. All of the hotel staff were helpful, even offering to do things unasked. The hotel owner should be proud of his hotel and his staff.

Very good room

We were not told we would not be in the main building. Our room, although terrific (640), was a bit noisy. Room service could not deal with simple request (a green salad along with an egg white omelet). There was a mouse in the dinning room (staff there was quite good, but a cat was not available).

Very courteous and professional staff throughout the hotel. Great breakfast, free mini-bar. Great location in the city, just a 10 minute walk from the city-center.

Hotel room was clean but: - I would expect more cozy, stylish, renovated, larger room for the price I payed - bathroom facility was old fashion with plastic curtains around shower corner - definitely does not match with the high price - generally such a room should cost about 60% of the price they ask for

The bed was so comfy and our room very quiet. It was classed as a "petite" room but plenty big enough for our needs. Breakfast fare was very good and lots of choice. Staff too were friendly. Although we did not use the restaurant it was good to have it there should we not have wished to venture out. It is also in a prime location for the station and old town.

The breakfast room at the back is very sterile and souless. There was also a step in our bathroom which I feel is dangerous even with the blue light illuminating it. Our friends also had a "petite" room but their bathroom was on the level.

Excellent location .very close to train station . Easy waslking distance to city centre and shops. Excellent comfortable bed . Great access to free coffee . Plenty choices for breakfast .

Fairly clinical in overall look of hotel . Room basic and as we had a small room it was limited in outlook and lack of daylight . Limited lounge facilities . More a business facility than leisure traveller

I have stayed at the Beaumont several times for business and chose it again for a city trip with my wife. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. Very nice breakfast buffet, with good coffee. A good location from which to explore the city of Maastricht.

The hotel is located near the train station and the city centre, in a nice area called Wick. The room had a big bathroom, was nice and clean. Brakfast was full of everything and also the staff was kind.

In our bathroom there were 2 steps, on was highlighted by a blue led light but the other one was not....it could be dangerous if you wake up still half sleeping.....

Friendly and well-informed staff, secure bike storage in a locked storage room, great location a few minutes walk from Maastricht train station and also a quick walk over the bridge to the old town. Room was large, well maintained and modern with a rustic feel. As itIs bike-tourer friendly I would stay here again.

Friendly, attentive, helpful staff. Good location near Maastricht train station. Good buffet breakfast, with fresh orange juice (do-it-your-self machine).

Room was not immediately available at check-in time (16:00), it took a couple of extra minutes.

Prime location, good services, and I loved the coffee machine in the lobby. Excellent Cappuccino any time of the day. The staff was very helpful too. Always greeting me with a smile and are ready to provide any assistance.

Not the hotel, but rather the room location. I would recommend rooms facing away from the street for quietness. I staying in a street facing room. While quite nice, it was a little noisy since you have to have the windows open (no ac). If you are the type of person that wakes up early, say 6 or 7, that may not bother you that much.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were chic and nice, given the old structurenof the historic building.

The hotel staff initially overcharged for the rooms, I needed to prove the booked rate through booking.com to get the rate that I had agreed to when booking the hotel. Breakfast buffet was not included in the room price which is unusual for a European hotel. The buffet was excellent in quality and variety, but far too expensive compared to other restaurants nearby.

Fantastic stay during last week in March 2012. Room was huge by European standards, bed was very big and comfortable, great lighting and superb bathroom, one of the best in my Europe stays over the decades. Breakfast was delicious and staff was extremely helpful!
