At the border of a small village Sint Odilienberg (only 4 miles from Roermond) you will find this lovely old house from 1933.
All rooms have their own TV, chair, 2 beds and a bathroom with shower. In the guest room you can enjoy your breakfast but you can also drink a cup of tea with the local 'vlaai' (tart), have dinner, or read a book.
On the grounds you will find some nice corners to rest and relax after an afternoon of hiking and biking.

The hotel is located in a quiet area and has beautiful forests right outside the door, extensive walking and biking trails, the Roer river and National Park De Meinweg (which crosses the border into Germany).
This hotel is also only 10 minutes by car from the historic city of Roermond, 15 minutes from Thorn and 30 minutes from Maastricht or Düsseldorf.
By Car:
- Take the A2 Amsterdam-Maastricht motorway, exit 44 Roermond, St Joost.
- At the traffic lights, turn left to Roermond.
- After 2 km, turn right to Montfort, Sint Odilienberg.
- At the entrance to the village, take a left for the Hagelkruisweg.
- The Bed & Breakfast BergOpwaerts is on your right-hand side after the 3rd street narrows.
By Train:
Take the IC train to Roermond and then a bus to Sint Odilienberg (number 80, 15-minute journey).
The hotel will only accept cash payments on arrival.
