This completely renovated hotel is located on one of the nicest shopping streets in Amsterdam the Hampshire Hotel Beethoven is used both by business people and tourists.

The hotel is centrally located in Amsterdam, in easy walking distance of the RAI Conference center, The VU (university), the large office complex near the Amstelpark and the Arena.

The trams to the center stop right in front of the hotel, so you can enjoy all that the capital has to offer. The Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh museum and the Concert Hall are just a short distance from your hotel.

One of the cheaper (yet still E90,= p night) hotels in this neighbourhood.. Good breakfast included in price. Good location in one of the poshest areas of Amsterdam. Great to have a coffee/tea making facilities in each room.

Some rooms tend to be small, with very small bathrooms.

Breakfast was good -- not the best, but decent and they did have coffee. I appreciated that breakfast was included, which was difficult to find in the local hotels. The room was larger than other hotels in Europe and the bathroom actually had a full size tub. There was a nice door to the balcony area on the 4th floor -- which was a pleasant surprise and our room had a refrig.

The garage is not available -- so parking was on the side streets and costs 13 Euro/day -- but you must have coins.

Only 15 minutes to centraal station by tramway.

I can´t pay with kreditcard because the apparat hasn´t accepted my card. After the journey my bank said that everythink is ok with the card.

There internet and air conditioning was not working (they never informed anyone) and they had no parking.

friendly staff, nice breakfast

We had two rooms. In the first room there was an emergency exit sign which lightened the room all night. The second room was at the first floor above a bakery and there was an annoying smell from that. Besides that rooms were comfortable.

The bed was comfortable

The size of the bathrooms, the lack of minibar, fresh coffee. The fact that for 200 euro's a night you get stuck in a budget hotel that should not cost nearly as much.

Nice, quiet room and clean. Good location for my needs

Lousy reception, the corridors look ugly/worn, the hot water is dangerous, very very hot!! It was not easy to use the mirror at the bathroom because of bad location of light. And the lights at the room was not at all cosy
