The Bellevue Hotel is an extraordinary 3-star hotel in the center of Amsterdam. A really good hotel. Clean, modern, safe. And yet individual, warm and authentic.
Uniquely located on the Martelaarsgracht, directly across the road from the Central Station making it very easy to reach when coming via Schiphol Airport.

In the Brassiere hotel guests, and general public are invited to enjoy a quick bite to eat and drink. Located close to Central Station, in the heart of Amsterdam, the Brassiere in the Bellevue Hotel is an ideal location to enjoy a tasty sandwich, fresh salad, or a quick meal for lunch or at the end of the day before catching the train home.

Café: Oldest café in Amsterdam.
On the corner of the Martelaarsgracht and the Prins Hendrikkade you will find the Café Karpershoek. According to the records, the Karpershoek opened in 1606, thus becoming the oldest café in Amsterdam. Behind the bar you will find classic Dutch bartenders, who love to tell (and hear) a good story. They are excited to serve you a foamy Heineken beer, or other refreshing drink, and answer any questions you might have.

All well-known Amsterdam attractions are nearby. Such as the Paleis op de Dam (Queens palace), the Begijnhof, shopping center Magna Plaza and the Anne Frank House.

Hotel is at great location just in front of Amsterdam Centraal. Rooms are nice alhtough small, free internet and well working, good breakfast.

My stay was very short, so I did not have lots of opinions. But the room was larger than what I expected (I stayed in one hotel and that was really small). It was also clean. Quite comfortable.

Very friendly and efficient staff at the front desk and in the restaurant. The room was very bright and clean and quiet (with the windows closed) even though it's on a main street. The location, while not in the most beautiful spot in Amsterdam, is very convenient for the train station and easy walk to the canals.

Great location. You can walk the 2 blocks to the Central Station to take the train to and from the airport. Nice new (4 years), clean hotel. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars, internet cafes. Easy trolly access to the rest of the city.

The rooms were small, but that seems to be the norm in Europe.

The location was amazing. The room was perfect. It had great airconditioning, nice showers, it was clean, and it was quiet. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. What's more I got all this for a very affordable price. I was very happy with this hotel.

I loved the convenience of the Bellevue as it was directly across from Central Station and an easy walk with my bags. I had a top floor efficiency room with a twin bed. Spartan but quite efficient and I didn't plan to spend much time in the room so the rate and accomodations were fine. Considering the location nearest the busiest transporation hub in Amsterdam, the room was surprisingly quiet.

Air handling system could have been a little better overall as I ended up smelling the "smoke" of one of the other patron's who was doing so in his/her room somewhere on my floor.
