Very good location; in a quiet neighborhood very close to city and at the edge of town near wonderful nature of Waal river. Perfect for cycling and hiking. The hotel should have been renovated already 10 years ago! Everything is too old and outdated. Furniture, cabinets, chairs, wall paper, flooring, bathroom equipment, etc is way too old and too much used for a 4 star hotel. Personnel is truly friendly but not professional enough as could be expected in a 4 star hotel. Restaurant/bar was totally understaffed: one waiter to serve a bar, a considerable sized restaurant and an outdoor terrace resulting in - for 4 star hotel - unacceptable poor service (with respect for the waiter trying to stay cool, but a very bad mark for the hotel management). Average Ibis hotel should be 5 star if this hotel has 4! |

Relaxed atmosphere. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast selection. Short evening menu, but good quality if you need to eat in. Well located for the excellent Valkhof Museum. The hotel could do with a general spruce-up. |

Location was good for me, youngest of us. Not to far from centrum. Easy to find late at night. Good neon-light on top of Hotel. Vending-machines for cold drinks on every floor. Good breakfast. Got smoking-room. A tribble +. Old facileties. Not all that is mentioned in Booking.com is there. Bad oportunetetys of English-spoken channels on telly. 4-star is a bit high, as Grand Hot in Amsterdam got 4 stars as well. BIG difference. |

Staff were friendly, rooms comfortable although wardrobe could be bigger. It was nice to have English channels on the TV The parking could be expensive if back early from a day out - should be a concession for guests. |

Good size room - we had a junior suite The room was filthy. We changed rooms and the next one was also filthy. We were given a kettle but there was no coffee. The coffee cups at breakfast also extremely small and too small to take a cappucino so coffee spills over the side. The butter packets were mixed with used ones - attention to detail not so great in this hotel. The chairs have cigarette holes and the carpets are stained. The hotel needs desperate upgrading, and new personnel perhaps. You must also pay for parking, which gets expensive on an hourly rate. I wasn't aware of this before I arrived. Would not recommend this hotel until it has been cleaned, and the hotel newly fitted out. Was also woken early in the morning by the delivery men. |

Deluxe double room was really big and comfortable. The beds are too soft for my taste but that is a matter of taste. Towels were rather old but the room was clean and in good condition. The breakfast is adequate but not excellent. Mediocre coffee and rather dry scrambled eggs but there are other things to eat as well so we did not go hungry. The breakfast area is so warm and cosy that you do expect something better. |

It was well located with easy access to the town and local bars and restaurants. We also enjoyed using the pool and sauna. We had to pay for parking throughout our stay as there was no dedecated hotel parking included. The mini bar was empty and there was no tea or coffee making facilities in our room. |

I liked the swimming pool and sauna. Also, the hotel was close to the centre. The beds were awful, the rooms looked like they were build decades ago. |

Clean and comfortable place. We had two single beds instead of a big bed. We joined them, and was ok, but some people could not like it. |

Although we only had an overnight stay at the hotel it was in an excellent location for visiting Nijmegen. There was an excellent choice for breakfast and although the rooms was fairly basic they was clean and tidy. |

Paid 70 euros for a twin suite. It had a large living area and a balcony. Very central and bar not too pricey. Nice town to spend a weekend in. Nice staff. Hotel isn't the most modern, but all the above more than make up for it. |

For the the rate of 55 GBP/night for 2 adults and 1 child, this was extremely good value. Loved the very childfriendly swimming pool and the sauna. The hot water had good pressure but could be inconsistent so I found this dangerous for my child. I was missing an airconditioning, room temperatures were more than 25 grades. I would not pay more than 90 EUR/night in the future. |
