It was great to have a place to call your own for a couple of days. The apartment gave you a sense of what it would be llike to live there. Nothing,it was exactly what I expected for the price I paid

We stayed in an apartment so we did not have any services at our facility. we spend most of our time away from the apartment taking in the sights of Amsterdam. The apartment was a good location for this. The only thing I was not quite ok with was parking. It was a drag to have to drive to the stadium to park and then take the bus back, but cheaper than paying the price on the street for parking. The location was good. It was interesting to sit and watch how people drove like crazy on their bikes.

We stayed in the apartment close to Anne Frank House, it was a fantastic apartment. It was probably one of the best places we have ever stayed so central but with a very local feel. Definately recommend this to anyone. We will b back

Price is very good, locattion is a little far but easily accesisble with one bus or tram service from central station with only 2 Euros. Good Breakfast served in the room. No Wireless connection. Long stairs without elevator (not suitable for big luggage holders) , thin walls (hearing others in the other rooms)

Main hotel was easy to get to from the central train station. Staff drove us to the apartment so we did not have to lug our stuff around. Apartment was a good size and had easy walking and tram access. Small bathroom and tv, but the bed was really comfortable.

The staff in hotel Bema was excellent! The breakfast was brought to our room and the hotel was in a quite area, but within a walking distance of everything one would like to see. True value for money.

The location was great. The apartment was small but cozy and having a kitchen was nice. Unfortunately on the third night, we had both mice and cockroaches. Very unpleasant. Mice and cockroaches

We stayed in a separate apartment held by Bema Hotel. Everything was nearly perfect - a kind woman registered us, handed in the keys, called to a friend of hers to help us bringing the luggage to the apartment. The apartment is literally 50 meters away from a tram stop, a supermarket, fast food, 200 meters away from Vondel Park - probably the biggest one in Amsterdam, also pretty convenient location to walk to the centre, especially in an weekend morning, when the crowd has not yet flooded the streets. As for facilities, a kitchen box is available with everything necessary to cook your own food, coffee, tea or whatsoever. There is a separate bedroom, but the additional bed and a small couch make it possible that 3-4 people comfortably overnight. The toilet and the bathroom are quite cramped but it's not a big deal if planned a couple-of- days stay. The steep stairs are quite a challenge if one has a baby and a baby carrier to bring upstairs. However, it is likely that you come across such a problem throughout Amsterdam, especially in older building. No air conditioning, though not actually needed in the end of May.

Very cosy and romantic. It contains "killer stairs", the ones that you use to ditch your mother-in- law when she crosses the line. No lift. If you travel with heavy packs or come back drunk, that will be an issue.

The apartment is part of the Hotel Bema and was large and well situated. there was plenty of room for a family and the facilities were good. I was a bit surprised when after a 20 euro taxi ride to the hotel we were faced with a similar journey to the apartment which was not situated nearby at all. However the owner took us in his car and made us very welcome. All in all an excellent stay and good value for money.

Easy to find. The manager - Joanna I think is her name, was nice, welcoming and all. It was cheap, but near to the Rijksmuseum, and only a 10-minute walk from the centre. It was fine.

We rented a two room apartment (90 - 100 sqm) in an old building. The location was good, it was possible to walk to the city center. The price was really cheap for the size and the location of the apartment. There were only 2 heaters - due to the cold weather and the drafty windows it was very cold in the apartment. The apartment is clairaudient - you should have some ear plugs with you! Furthermore the bathroom was really tiny.

Really comfortable bed. Lovely view from room. High ceilings- over 3 meters. Breakfast was really nice. Helpful receptionist. Great location- Close to nightlife and museums, 20mins tram ride from Centraal Station. Mother of all stairs- great for the buns. However not disabled friendly. Fantastic budget/weekend option. Free Wifi. Ask reception for password. No toiletries in private bath. Weird toilet bowl Completely acoustically exposed between bath and room. You'd better be really comfortable with the people you're staying with.

For a hotel in Amsterdam, our room was very spacious. None of the unnecessary extras, just simple comforts and good service, which was perfect for us. The location is ideal for the larger museums, concert hall and a great deal of public transportation.

We stayed in the apartments which are just 2min by walk from main Bema hotel. Location is ok, quiet but a wee bit to far from city centre but a bus leaves just outside the hotel so its easy to get there. The room was so so, can't say anything wronb but it would be not suitable for families or longer stay because its small room and its just for sleeping.

The price. If you want a cheap hotel it's ok, but the room was 'poor', old furniture, old...everithing. The best part was the breakfast, which is served in the room. If you go to Amsterdam to 'party', and you don't want to spend a lot of money for a hotel, Bema is ok...

The '2 bedroom apartment' we booked was spacious and clean, in a good city location and provided a huge living room in which we could chill out after the hectic bustle of the Amsterdam night life. The kitchen was also a good bonus, allowing a hearty breakfast before facing the day. Beds were standard doubles but very comfortable. The apartment was a 15 min walk from the hotel proper, staff paid for our taxi (after we asked them to!). The price was good also, four of us stayed and individually we'd have paid more for hostel accommodation without the private facilities we enjoyed. The hotel confirmed with me twice our arrival time, and then kept us waiting an hour and a half to check in after we arrived on time - why not acknowledge our arrival time and suggest we arrive later rather than letting us turn up and then have to change all our day's plans? Following a 4am start that day, it was a painful experience. Compared to the rest of the apartment the bathroom was barely adequate, 1m x 1m with a curtain to separate the toilet and even with the squeegee provided it still made for wet feet for hours after anyone used the shower. Second bedroom about a quarter of the size of the first so if you're sharing the cost with friends, one couple should be prepared to pay more. Hotel reported to have internet access in public areas - our room offsite had no such facility.
