Room without toilette

You may get discounted entrance ticket from the reception. Breakfast is sent to your room. The hotel located a bit far from main train station, but you could easily reach by tram or bus. The tram and airport bus stopped right outside the hotel.

The hotel has no lift, we have to carry our big luggage to 2nd floor. There's only 1 toilet and 3 shower room on second floor, but many people were sharing it.

Clean, comfortable, good location, the staff were very helpful.

Very friendly personel. Very good location close to major museums. Acceptable breakfasts delivered to your room. (Att htat concerns hotel, not the appartments, which we do not know).

Bathroom/toilet is a cubicle erected in a corner of the room.It already badly needs restoration. Smells (and sounds) come into the room. No sufficient heating during winter time. The room was really cold. There was no hot water during the weekend, because "too many guests were taking a shower", as the receptionist has explained. Though we have been kindly offered to be moved to an appartment somewhere else, we did not want to waste time and to risk to end up in similar or worse conditions.

The staff were wonderfull, the accomidations perfect.

I liked my stay at this hotel. Well situated from the town centre, quiet, clean. Good showers. Very good connection to the airport as the bus stop is round the corner from the Hotel and just across the road to go there (bus 197). Staff helpful and friendly. I went in the winter and it was very cold outside, the hotel was well heated as well as my bedroom; spacious, comfortable bed with a TV. Nice breakfast! Really it suited me well.

The stair case to the hotel, quite a few steps and stip as well. The hotel is on the first floor; but this was only a detail for me.

Ideal location for access to airport bus and to multiple museums and other cultural venues. Receptionist was helpful and accommodated us with a make-shift breakfast tray since we had to leave well before the 8:30 regular breakfast would be brought to the room.

Very steep set of stairs to climb to reach reception. Very small, narrow, old-fashioned bathroom - we did have a private ensuite but it was not appealing enough to take a shower and entrance to bathroom had a raised lip step-over at the door that one could easily trip over and fall. We're fit and agile and still found this entrance a bit risky.

We got an apartment, it was fully equipped, clean and cozy. the location is great, got trams just below, restaurants, park and more are minutes of walking away. free internet and very very nice staff.

It's really close to the centre, tram station to the centre in front of the hotel, also bus station to the airport is in front of the hotel, excellent breakfast to your room, staff is very kindly and helpful.

It was little bit cold in our room (and we were there in the end of September).

We stay in the Alexander Lux Apartment with a very nice livingroom, kitchenet and private bathroom, a little bit more expensive but it's worth it. There´s a tram stop a 2-3 minute walk away (less than 15 minutes walk to Leidseplein) Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

We had to wait until 16h for check-in but it wasn't a big deal

It still has the design and decorating items from the house that the hotel use to be, so it certainly has some personality.

There is a fairly long stairway to get to the rooms. The toilet and bathroom is shared between 5 rooms, however you are warned about that upfront.

Fully self contained apartment close to everything, super friendly english speaking employees who personally dropped us off from the hotel to apartment and made sure we were all settled.

We liked the locotaion , it was so near to all the attravtive places , and it was also easz to travel from and to the airport bz using the bus 197. The free wifi in the rooms was very good service.

The stairs were alot and little bit dangerous

It was a fair sized room with a decent kitchenette and a cramped but working shower/WC.

I paid 305 Euros for three night and guess what I found: No toilet paper. No water in refrigerator. No soap and shampoo. I also found construction happening in the building and in warm weather no air- conditioning and no fans! I had to carry my own bags down through the steepest two flights of stairs anyone could design, outside of a fireman's ladder in a burning building. Is this only Bema or is this standard for overpriced, under performing European hotels? In a motel in the us or a 2 star hotel in India this would be disgraceful.

Good location. Bus197 can reach hotel reception, make sure get off 1st stop for museumplein, there are 2 stops, it is the firstone if u from airport. Friendly, helpful staff.

Everything was great.

You have to take stairs to get up/down. Guess that's bad for the handicapped or lazy ones.

The apartment was charming and very centrally located to museums and canal walks

Both the Bema Hotel and the apartment rented through them are very challenging for mature or or mildly disabled people. There is a very steep staircase of around 50 steps to access the main floor, and the same to access the apartment, no life for either.
