Amrâth Grand Hotel Frans Hals

L'albergo è situato a due passi dal centro. A pochi meri di distanza c'è un parcheggio, costoso ma davvero comodo perchè proprio sotto l'albergo. Le camere sono carine, spaziose. Personale accogliente, anzi alla reception quando siamo arrivati c'era un simpaticissimo fiorentino.

Le macchie di vernice che ci sono nella camera 309-L'arroganza del signore di colore che c'è alla reception,voleva ad ogni costo farmi pagare circa 300 euro di più,adducendo che erano le varie tasse,mentre avevo il tutto incuso,a parte 1,90 euro a persona di tassa.

Good hotel, clean and new. To all the complainers about water pressure: this is an Eco setting, just press the little switch on the tap and it will give plenty of water (3rd floor).

I would highly recommend this hotel. Staff were very friendly. Room was very clean , comfortable and a good size.Haarlem is an ideal base for visiting Amsterdam and surrounding areas.

We have 2 small suggestions a lamp was not working in the hotel and we did put a note in the room to request the lamp replaced this did not happen. And there was questionaire for the hotel we would have liked to fill in howevever although a couple of the questions had english translations the rest was in dutch. And we were aware of many people from different countries were there so maybe more of this questionaire translated would be advantages to getting feed back to the hotel

location was good - adjacent to the grand church

staff was not very pleasant. Hotel was sterile and a pin drop noise carried all the way to the top floor. children, even well behaved, are not welcome.

The room was a lot smaller than anticipated and I would not class it as 'luxury' which was how it was described in the hotel literature and on the website

Had to slam doors for them to close properly and therefore, it was very noisy. Dvd did not work.

The location is excellent. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful.
