The place was definitely clean from the bathroom to the living room area & the bedroom. The view was great. The place could even pass for a studio loft/apartment. Wonderful place to stay, value for money! The only thing negative worth mentioning about our stay was the staircase! As with all houses in Amsterdam, the staircase was quite narrow & we were checked in the 5th floor. We were international travellers from Asia and were staying in Europe for 2 weeks. So naturally we had huge suitcases. We had to bring this up ourselves through 5 floors - no elevator! This was quite exhausting! Make sure to book a room in the 1st or 2nd floors if your bringing a lot of baggage. |

Cheap, clean, enaught confotable, not too far from the center (pulito, economico, personale gentile, ottima prima colazione, mi sono trovato piuttosto bene) Room very very small. Hard stair (la camera era molto molto piccola si faceva fatica ad avere una valigia e a muoversi in due, ci stava appena il letto e il lavandino + scala molto ripida, ma è comunque una normalità in olanda + letto un po' rumoroso ;-) |

The staff were extremely helpful and could not have done any more. It is reasonably easy to explore Amsterdam from here The amazingly steep stairs, bring your climbing gear |

The free internet access in the breakfastroom, the helpfull staff, the quiet and agreeable place, clean beds, nice athmosphere, the information they gave me about Amsterdam and events that were going on, ... The breakfast was a bit too sweet for me with too little vegetables, the curtains in the room were full of spots and there was a cigarette smell in the room which made it a bit difficult for me to breathe and sleep easily. |

The rooms are very clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also good. The only drawbacks might be the stairs, and the hotel is a fair walk from the central city. However, given the price, and the standard of the hotel, this is a good place to stay. i would stay here again. |

The friendly and tourist helpful staff - eg help with contacting a doctor, transport advice and directions to places etc. Sometimes other guests were noisy late at night. |

the room wasn't yet cleaned as I got to the hotel at 4pm, had to wait more than half an hour before I was able to use it. the first morning, the breakfast did not include all that was mentioned (no cheese and ham, but I guess it depends on the person of the staff you get, some of them are incredibly nice, other lacks sympathy and seriousness in his job), but overall was quite nice. |

The Dutch guy who works there with a baseball cap was friendly and helpful. I like the taste of the grand floor where we have breakfast. Internet connection condition was quite nice. I like this hotel. I will return someday. The guests are asked not to bring coffee or this kind of beverage to own room. I think it is impossible. Here is a hotel, not museum neither library, even if for keeping rooms clean |

Really great value, especially with breakfast included. Our room was quite small but was really nicely furnished, felt comfortable and was clean. Very handy having bicycle hire and a lock up opposite the hotel. Good selection of cafes, restaurants and bars within walking distance. |

More or less nothing Single room was like a prison cell and top of that there was bunk bed and double in this cell room. I banged my head many time on bunk bed. There was no chair in the room and tv position was on the top on upper bunk bed. If you are sitting at the bottom level you can not watch tv. You have to climb up to watch tv and for me it was very hard as I have got back problem. |

Value for money. Vicinity to the RAI Centre. Breakfast started at 8.00, too late for me. |

Hotel receptionists were kind and helped me with information and hints about the city. I got the fourth floor and the traditional Dutch architecture with no elevators and stairs like ladders were like clibing the Everest. |

the staff was friendly and helpful; the hotel is at a good location, but is quiet; free wireless internet the room provided the basics only; for example, there were no reading lamps at the bedside (or anywhere) |
