The hotel was amazing!!!! the room was really really nice and wonderful, the location is amazing, just a minute walk from the Center of Maastricht and very close to the bus station...I felt really lucky to find this hotel as the price was reasonable and eveything was awsome!! One time it was raining and I asked the desk for help to order food and the guy that was sitting was really not nice and only told me about a Dutch website which obvivously I didn't know how to read so I just waited for the rain to stop

Hotel is a classic city hotel. Curtains did not fit to the windows, to much light in the room in the morning.

Rooms look very cozy and comfortable, free bottle of wine was waiting for us on the table, which is always nice. Location is very central, close to all the attractions and shopping areas. No hairdryer in the room surprised me, and so did two single beds in a "double room"

The hotel is elegant and I loved the room design (I stayed in an attic room with rough hewn beams in ceiling). The morning staff person was extremely professional and welcoming. The afternoon staff person was inattentive and unprofessional. There is a group of young men hanging out by the front of the hotel both in daytime and evening. I felt a bit unsafe coming to the hotel in the evening with nobody around for help. The guys were drinking, and although they seemed friendly for the most part, alcohol can make things unsafe. Also the afternoon staff person neglected to tell me that the hotel is unstaffed in the evening and that my room key worked in the front door. For a moment I panicked and thought I was stranded outside with the fellows mentioned above. Later on that night there was a loud street fight and I was downright scared (not to mention sleepless). I had no cellphone with me and decided that for safety, this is not the place unless these guys can be convinced to move elsewhere. The morning staff person explained the dilemma of the city police not being very responsive for loitering. In the usa where I live loitering can be controlled on private property, and I do understand that this is not the case in other places.

The "cachet"of the hotel with the furniture and the woodfascia, the breakfast although too much, the staff is very nice and helpfull. The poor lighting of the bathroom, when its too much in the room, the lack of space to place your clothes- absolutely none in the comfort room !.-the abscence of a full length miror, the old windows, nice to see,but useless against the noise of the street and finally the presence of the drug dealers under your windows if your room has the river view ,which means on the street.

Really centrally located, next to the Maas and the Market Square. Walking distance to the central train station. Impressive breakfast. And very nice decoration of the rooms. Breakfast starts at 8a.M., which is a bit late if you are in Maastricht for work. There is no 24 hour reception, making late night arrivals a bit problematic.

Hotel location is the main advantage for this hotel. It is walking distance to a public parking area and is right in the city centre. It is also clean and spacious. It is expensive compared to the facilities and services that were available.

We liked the location the best as it is 5 mins from the city center and all the shppoing areas were in walking distance. I would stay there again. We were able to have a large room that accomodated 3 people. The breakfast appeared notworthy and the chef greets and serves his guests in the breakfast room. He is very professional. We did not take advantage of the breakfast. We learned this by observing as our car was blocked in my another hotel guest but we were offered a complimentary breakfast which our grandson had while we only had coffee. Internet access was good. Water was available in the room and a complimentary bottle of wine. They are still renovating and it has great potential. There were no telephones in the rooms, iron or ironing board, shower caps, kleenex, shampoo, lotion and no mini bar. Your couldn't call the front desk if you needed something or to ask a question. I had to go up and down the stairs. Need updated business cards. I felt it was a little over priced due to the fact that they were still renovating and some comforts were not readily available. Parking was overpriced (20 e) and not secure enough for the price, meaning no ticket to let you in and out of the parking area. The spaces were hard to get out of if some parked behind your car which should not be allowed for the price. Parking signs with the hotel name should be given to all guests to identify that they are hotel guests. .

Great location, great staff, authentic Dutch property. Stayed here 3 times now mainly because of the location. Not sure if I would rush to stay there again, we were kept up until the early hours on two of the four nights of our stay by several unsavoury caracters who were standing just below our window. It was obvious from there demeanour they were involved in some type of drug dealing, we saw them on more than one occasion taking some type of substance! The hotel management need to be pro-active in dealing with this problem. The staff are great, however on one occasion I asked a member of staff for some tissues but she said they didn't have any, these aren't supplied with the room which I find rather strange.

Comforatable rooms in a good location The building was still under construction. Builders were working on the floor under us. Power went out in the middel of the night. There were no lights on the stairs or corridors for several nights. WiFi and TV were intermittent.

Very friendly and warm reception, kind people. Romatic attic room, with a special atmosphere, not easily to be forgotten. Ideal location to the city centre and old town. The renovation work will be finished this year and then the hotel is going to be super lux
