Bilderdijk Apartments

The apartments are all nice, but...keep on reading...

A resume of our stay... We are a group of friends of 29 years old. The day we arrived they told us that our reservations was missing, because deleted some days before (they didn't understand how it was possible....) so they would give us the apartment right upstairs their office for the first 2 nights of 3 we had planned to stay in Amsterdam. Well...the flat is very cool,but.. On the 2nd day- while we werw having dinner in the evening - two or three mice jumped out in the kitchen!!! Soon we asked for another apartment. They found us a new one, that was really more far from the centre than they told us. Anyway, they also gave us the wrong keys, of another apartment! So two of us had to come back to the Bilderdijk office to have the right keys back!!!!!!!! No words...

We had a bit of difficulties find9ing the check in office, however after we were checked in, it was great. Rooms are of a decent size and because it was a short lads' getaway it was perfect, fromt room was a good size and the bathroom was of excellent standard.

Too far away from main area , staff were not one bit helpfull !

The windows and doors were screwed shut so that noisy guests wouldn't upset the neighbors. However, this is unacceptable. For 8 people to be in a 4 bedroom apartment with no ventilation is absurd. Also, we requested double beds, but when we arrived the single beds were there so we had to put them together and make the beds ourselves. Not the end of the world, but not the level of service we were expecting.

Nonostante il wc unico I lavandini e le docce hanno reso un bel servizio. Anche in tanti e' godibile

L'assenza di pentole,ciotole,vassoi,coltelli funzionanti rende solo virtuale e non reale la possibilità ' di mangiare a casa. Attrezzatura di cucina decisamente insufficiente.Magari una sistematina alle scale renderebbe meno facile inciampare....

Wij kregen een andere accomodatie toegewezen, dat ECHT niet overeen kwam met wat wij geboekt hadden Veel dingen waren kapot of werkte niet meer Niet genoeg bestek, glazen...voor het aantal personen

trop peu d'equipement , manque tire bouchon , seche cheveux , plats , verres aller chercher les clés à 4 arrets de tram fait perdre une heure

Appartement tres propre et joliement décoré.

Nous avions loué un appartement de 4 chambres pour 9 personnes. Lors de la réservation je constate qu'il ne faut pas de carte de crédit, mais qu'il faut verser 10% d'accompte, hors par sureté je contacte "booking" on me certifie que je peux payer l'accompte + la réservation une fois arrivé la bas. Quelque jour avant de partir je recois un mail de "living capital" qui me demande de leur payer les 10% par virement bancaire (ce que j'ai fait)!!!!!! Un jour avant de partir je recois un second mail qui me signale que l'appartement que j'ai réservé a été détérioré et en remplacement on me propose un appartement de 3 chambres. Je contacte "booking" pour leur faire par de ce mail et que je refuse cet arrangement car ayant loué un appartement de 4 chambres!!! -On me certifie que je peux partir tranquille et que tout sera arrangé a notre arriver à amsterdam. -Début d'après midi coup de télèphone de "booking" on me signale quand remplacement nous aurions un appartement de 6 chambres (impeccable).!! -Mais une fois arriver au bureau de "living capital" ils ne veulent pas nous donner l'appartement et nous proposent des logements soit beaucoup plus loin que prévu soit des logement de 2 chambres ( pour 9 personnes). Je refuse et leur demande d'appeler "booking" (car ils ne font aucun effort pour parler ni comprendre le francais!!!). -Moralité 2h de perdu a négocier pour un logement et comble de tout il faut verser la caution de 250euros en liquide et elle sera rendu par virement (désolé mais je ne pars pas en vacance avec un rib dans ma poche) et si on veut l'avoir a rendre en liquide ils prelevent 30euros!!! Pourquoi????

El espacio para 8 personas te arreglas bien

El portal de entrada y las escaleras deja mucho que desear y hace desmerecer el apartamento.Que tiene un solo inodoro para la capacidad de personas que tiene 10.

Tipica casa olandese molto accogliente e calda. La casa è in un quartiere tranquillo ben servito dai tram e ci sono negozi vicini.

La scalinata per salire è molto ripida

We had a really enjoyable stay here as a group of eight. Check in was fine but the apartment is a fair distance from the check in office. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Apartment is in an OK location but serviced by trams. There are supermarkets across the road and a number of restaurants and cafes nearby. Apartment was clean and comfortable and had all the things we needed like towels (although they were quite small!) linens, cooking utensils etc. Beds were very comfortable. Huge TV and free WIFI was a major plus.

Windows are all bolted shut so it is very hard to let any air into the apartment. Same goes for balcony doors. There was one toilet for eight people but two showers. One bathroom was a wet room that contained shower and toilet but whole room would get wet as I don't think there was a sufficient decline on the ground tiles for the water to drain. There are many fees with this apartment for late check in, early check in, getting your deposit back in cash etc but overall we had a great time. Stairs to apartment are very steep but these seems to be the norm for all of Amsterdam!

stor og rummelig lejlighed

Lejlighed (90-2) er meget slidt. Manglende bruseforhæng på begge badeværelser gjorde, at hele badeværelset blev vådt ved brusebad. Dårligt afløb i et badeværelse. Kun 7 spisebordsstole til 8 personer. Altandøre kunne ikke åbnes. Kun 1 vindue i lejlighed kunne åbnes. Ingen wi fi som lovet.

Safe location.

Staff were unhelpful and there were extra hidden fees to pay. There was a bond of 250 euros which was clear from the website - but to get the bond back we each had to pay 10 euros - 30 euros in total to get that bond back - this system is wrong and very unprofessional. Also...on saturday afternoon when we were relaxing in the apartment and I just had come out of the shower with a towel round my waist , we heard the door to our apartment open and two staff from the company just came in - this was not announced or never made clear to us , that they would come to see us..?? - we were very shocked , they did not offer any identification , or apologize ....or give a real reason why they interrupted our privacy . the only thing they said was that they needed to count the cups and the chairs.!!! I was so shocked and surprised - standing half naked too...this was terribly rude and unprofessional. I could not believe that they just came into the apartment without knocking - they said they thought we were arriving the next day - after we had gone to the main ofice and paid and checked in the previous day...??? Do these staff members talk to each other - do they use a diary...??? Also , upon arrival at the apartment - there was a handyman fixing some wires on the wall - why could this not of been done before our arrival... I'm disgustd at this company and will never use these again . they basically offer a terribly poor service , steal your money by adding extra fees on - which are not explained on your website......then think they can just walk into the apartment unannounced..!!!! On a saturday afternoon when we were enjoying our vacation.... These are truly a terrible cheap company overall.... This is not a good company at all..........horrible experiences we had...

la casa è abbastanza carina e posizionata vicino al centro

Avevamo prenotato un appartamento per nove persone e quando siamo arrivati c'erano soltanto 8 posti letto e quindi uno ha dormito sul divano. L'appartamento per 9 aveva soltanto un bagno oltretutto senza finestra e aspirazione. Una camera non era fornita di tende alle finestre.
