Staff spoke excellent English, very keen and helpful. Breakfast good, and included English type breakfast cereals, though... ...they were perhaps a little soggy. |

The location was perfect, we almost walked to everywhere. I would definitely recommend the place to everyone who want to stay in the centre (and who is not looking for extra luxury). The breakfast was okay, the room was clean and neat. People were nice. |

Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times, not just in terms of accommodation but also with respect to getting about town and things to see and do. |

Very friendly staff. Great location, very close to venues like Melkweg and Paradiso. I liked my room with a little garden. Musty smell in the room. Very narrow stairs. |

Location, nothing fancy, but aligned with the overall Amsterdam, hip experience. For the money, I'm bery happy. The steep stairs, but that's Amsterdam, I guess. |

The location is perfect (unless you plan to spend most of your time in Red Light district:), just off Ledseplein, close to restaurant area, clubs, museums, tram lines, etc. The breakfast is basic, but not bad at all. After you book, ask for a low floor room (by email), the ladder is steep; we stayed on first floor (one above ground/entrance), was ok. Hostel-like accomodation, very simple and worn off. I was ok with it, given the location, but my wife disliked it very much. So dont build on it for a romantic getaway:) Some noise from dance club in the same building (far from the hotel, its a large building). Extremely small room. Price seems to be too high for this, but then Amsterdam is expensive. |

Hotel La Boheme is a top end backpacker`s/traveler`s hotel. The excellent location of this little gem is one of it`s best assets: near a busy square and directly connected to all parts of the city via the excellent transit system. The price for the room is reasonable because it is clean, comfortable and safe, and it includes a good breakfast each morning. Good place! |

The location was perfetc! you can reach easily every place in Amsterdam both walking or using public transportation. The staff was very very nice and ready to help you for everything. the room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was really good even if not so "rich" My room was a little cold because the window didn't close very well but for me it was not a real problem. the recepion's opening time was 8:15 am to 23:00 pm...but if you tell them your arrival and departure time they wait for you or they find a solution for everything you need...however for me it was a quite good hotel |

The hotel is in an excellent position around the corner from Liedesplein. The staff are all friendly and made for a cheery breakfast in the morning. The rooms were cleaned daily. I was in a downstairs room and it was incredibly noisy due to the footsteps on the wooden floor of the dining/reception area above. They woke me up at night and then again in the morning when they began to get breakfast ready. It was like being inside a drum. So... make sure your room is not in the basement if you stay here. |

It's close to the center, the Leidseplein is on the next corner. The staff was absolute OK, the cat is great. The breakfast was satisfying. The room was as a 2** hotel, but we had a nice dream. All in all hopefully we will come back soon. :) Recommended! Small problem with the loo. After flush, needed to wait a lot to use it again. But the shower solves it. :) The stairs are really narrow, but what to expect from an old house? |

Proximity to transportation (trams, buses, canal tours), attractions, places to eat, entertainment etc. Would accept a room on main or first floor only. Extremely narrow, winding staircase (no lift). |
