good location, personal staff very friendly and reluctant, good breakfast

no lift, sometimes strange smell from the bathroom, towels should be cleaner

The location was excellent and the rooms were spotlessly clean.

Very helpful reception staff. Great suggestion for Hap Hmm local dining. Quiet, even during the construction across the street.

Five floors for sixty year olds! Update bus schedule, it never came.

our stay at la boheme was great....small but clean room and enough for our 4 day stay in Amsterdam.The staff are excellent, helpful and really nice and Mimi the cat is the star of the hotel. Breakfast is good as you can eat as much as you want.Location is perfect, just around the corner from Leidseplein!Just a word of warning woth the stairs...veeery steep!

It was basic accomodations, which I was looking for; I didn't need a lot of space. The english-speaking staff was very helpful.

On the second night, a young man woke me up by pounding on my door saying there was a complaint about smoking in my room. He came in and could tell I had not been smoking, then left with no apology.

We had a room with a street wiev - it was very loud during the night even when windows were closed

Free internet in entire hotel, good breakfast each morning, really friendly staff and really good location near restaurants and bars and public transport.

The steps were really narrow - not too much of an issue for us, but saw a lot struggling, and if you have to go up and down more than twice a day it gets annoying. The worst part for us was the bathroom was moldy and stank, making the whole room smell. Also the pillows weren't very comfortable. Otherwise they were a good place to stay.

The hotel is extremely near to Leidenplein with very good tram lines (1,2,5) to the centraal station. Near by is fastfoods, supermarket,cafeterias and coffeeshop and an internet cafe... So it was a good choice if you like to be near the center.

Unfortunately i didn't take the breakfast any of these days i stayed at the hotel cause i was living early and the breakfast wasn;t open yet. Maybe if it was open 7.30-10.30 it would be better for me.

Very nice place, the staff was very kind, rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast is adequate.

This hotel is just round the corner from the Leidseplein so is very handy. Staff were very helpful. The beds were comfortable.
