The location is perfect just across from the train station and close to downtown. The receptionist tried to overcharge me on check out. I had to remind her of my rate booked online. She should have seen this beforehand. Also Eden hotels seem to have blocked sites that contain the word 'gay' for their internet service. I didn't think this was possible in Holland. Think again. |

Very nice hotel, very well located. Large rooms, very clean. The staff is welcoming and responding as fast as possible to any request. Parking doesn't have too many places but rate is much cheaper than city parking. When booking from internet, there was no question about the beds, namely whether it would be a double bed (as we wanted to) or two twin beds ... Unfortunately, we could only get twin bed and it was impossible to change it. So I found it a bit rude as we were never asked to tell if twin beds would be ok. |

Good location - dead opposite the station. Nice room. €5/hour internet is a rip off. Breakfast only started at 7am, which was no good as I had an 0657 train to catch. |

No appreciation at all.... I found a dirty room and toilet, undone beds, upset bathroom with used towels put everywhere. The room appeared exactly as left by another guest leaving previusly there. |

Our room was large and well appointed. Plenty of room to open up and spread out suitcases! Bed was very comfortable and also a good size. So close to the train station - could not have asked for a better experience. |

The staff are friendly, the room is really comfortable, and the food is good, the weather was warm, and I could sit outside to eat and have coffe, which is great. The hotel is really close to the station, which is great on arrival. No, but I understand there are gym facilities, which I did not find, and would enjoy, especially sauna or steam room. |

Nice hotel. Very well situated straigt in front of Leeuwarden Station. Free-of-charge internet available. Second set of towels was a bit difficult to find: it was hidden in the wardrobe. |

The reception staff were very helpful and they all spoke English. The housekeeping was not very good. My room was not thoroughly cleaned each day, and used coffee cups were not cleaned and replenished. |

Loved the accomodation and the location of the hotel After we finished our first drink at the bar it took regulary 20 to 30 minutes before a staff member passed by. Staff members did not ask if we would like to have the drinks refilled. You had to order it yourself even if you were sitting at the bar. For a 4 star hotel ... you expect attention to detail and the comfort of the guests. |
