Away from downtown Amsterdam, yet able to walk to downtown and all over; easy access to trams and restaurants. Too many steps to the front door and too many steps inside the hotel. Hotel needs an elevator for the older folks or those with big and heavy suitcases. |

The staff at the reception was very, very friendly and professional. Clean, nice view. The breakfast was rather frugal. Some rolls and croissants would have been nice. |

The central location of this darling hotel on a canal makes for easy access to the entire city. The staff and management were super friendly and professional, helping us with our many questions about tours, taxis, bikes, etc. We loved the modern room inside the brick-faced, old-fashioned hotel and the beds were really, really comfortable. Great place to stay! |

Is possible to rent a bike directly at the hotel. Our room was at the third floor at the end of long long stairs. The amount of the first night are still blocked in my card. |

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Close to the center. I found the check in time (15:00) to be too late. Considering we were there for only one night and had to check out by 11am the next day, I think for what we paid we should have had access to our room for at least 24 hours. |

Beds were extremely comfortable and breakfast was plentiful. Good location and value for money. Access could be difficult with lots of steps/stairs and no lifts (to our knowledge). |

Hotel is right on Amstel Stratt on the Amstel River / canal in Amsterdam, just down the street from the "Little Bridge." Hotel has no elevators, so patrons should be ready to carry their bags up or down flights of stairs to get to their room(s). Room sizes are very condusive for sleeping and changing clothes and then going out into the city for visiting / sightseeing or whatever. The only shortcoming I found with the hotel was its lack of elevator facilities to accomodate customers who have heavy luggage. |

The breakfast was very good, the staff was friendly, and the room was neat, clean, and simple. There was no soap included in the room. Also, when taking a shower, the water sprayed everywhere in the room especially all over the adjacent toilet. |

Breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel in a quiet place, next to the river and quite close to most attractions of the city was also nice.It was also very clean. The single bedroom where i stayed, although good, was small and didn't have view to the river. The cleaning ladies every morning could do a better job, seemed as if they were in a hurry or something, even if this did not affect the fact that the room was clean. It seemed to me that the price was a bit high, although Amsterdam is an expensive city. |

The hotel location was very conveniant to explore the city of Amsterdam, central but on a nice quiet street on the Amstel. Room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Steep steps, not the best choice with a pushchair but i knew this when I booked, but I liked what I read which was a nice family run hotel in a quiet location. Great view from our room. |

Very close to the centrum. Nice if you won't spend much time in a room, but just for sleep. |

Great location on the Amstel river and by the canal. Very nicely, and maybe recently(?) decorated. Extremely clean and well kept. Full size bathroom with walk-in shower area. Well decorated, sunlit, large breakfast area. Breakfast itself had a good variety of food and was included in the room price. Flat screen TV in room on wall. Renovation and maintenance showed a lot of attention to detail. Not really a problem, and it is probably the nature of all the older hotels in Amsterdam (this was my first visit) but the room (310?) was small. Yet, it was only for me for two quick nights (I had practically no luggage) , so it was perfect for my use. (I actually really liked the room and especially the way it was decorated...very cool! I also had a view of the canal). |

Location was good, only a short walk from city centre, but in nice quiet spot by the canal. Staff were polite and helpful. Liked the bedroom style, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. Bathroom OK, but a hairdryer would have been nice. Breakfast good. The bar area was very basic, not inviting at all. I thought the cost of the double room was too high considering the lack of hotel facilities, although Amsterdam does seem to be an expensive city. |

The hotel is placed in a very silent area of the city. It is easy to get to points of interest. Interior of the hotel looks new. Noise from other guests was not heard. Friendly and helpful staff. |

The service {just like all people in Holland :) } was extremely kind and friendly. The breakfast was good. Bathroom in our room was clean and nice. The bed was comfortable with clean, white bedding and it was quiet in the room thanks to the good location. Pretty view from the window! The steel furniture was dirty. And it didn't look nice - the wardrobe was like a school locker with only two shelves. The price was too high for such room's standard. No free wi-fi in the room. No lift - problem when the luggage is heavy... |

Location, quiet but close to amenities.. Breakfast, Comfy bed, excellent shower Room location absolutely awful. (No 1). Courtyard RIGHT outside our window = smokers corner. No privacy at all. Woken by a) smokers talking & coughing b) noisy staff in the service coridor located outside our door. No view . No Lift. No rug on floor. Although comfy enough rooms are fairly basic. Paid a lot less for much better in other cities |

Hotel Estheréa is ideally located on one of the most beautiful and quiet canals in the centre of he city, only 300 metres from the Dam Square and the Royal Palace. |
The atmosphere of a residential area, and still only three minutes from the heart of Amsterdam: the lively Leidseplein. That is the charm of this cosy hotel. |
The hotel is situated in the historical heart of the city. Within walking distance you willl find many shopping streets and department stores. |
Located right near Vondelpark and across from the square of Leidseplein, the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel offers luxurious accommodation and first-class service. |
