Det låg nära till det mästa så för oss så var det bra läge. Det fanns ingen värme i badrummet på det rum som vi hade, så det var väldigt kallt att dduscha och gå på toa. Det var även lite otilgängligt för lite handikapade. Hiss saknades och det var mycket kringel krokar för att komma till rummet på 3vån. |

Läget superbt, med balkong vid Amstel. Tyst och lugnt, fastän mitt inne i city! Mycket välisolerat mot gatljud. Badrummet litet, morgonmålet knapert... Mycket och många branta trappor, lämpar sig inte för den som har svårt att röra sig. Inget barskåp eller kylskåp. |

Excellent location, helpful staff, spacious rooms, nice view if your room windows face Amstel. No elevator and steep stairs, a bit hard to climb with luggage. |

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The atmosphere in the hotel was a good mixture of efficient friendliness and privacy. Everything worked as it should have done and it is very much how it comes across on its website. For anyone who does not like narrow, winding staircases this hotel would be a good choice - at least if you stay on the ground floor like we did. I think there is a lift. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the breakfast. It seems to be a Dutch thing, but if you are not into pork/ham or cheese, choices are very limited (though there are eggs and cereals). One thing that would make a difference is providing a range of nice fresh fruits and maybe even some dried fruits like prunes, figs, etc, together with nuts. |

our room was one of the biggest ones, probably because they also had to put a babycot inside, and had a window in the canal. judging of the orientation of the hotel, I am not sure if every room has a window. |

Super location - close to amenities but in a quieter part of Amsterdam adjacent to the "skinny bridge". Good sized modern rooms. Very helpful staff. Buffet breakfast more than adequate. |

Closeness to metro, views of canal, free breakfast, free internet. Ask about car parking at Euro 6/day just outside the city - easy access by metro. Weekday price is very high considering it is not in downtown area |

Pleasant hotel near city centre, located at a convenient place. Rooms are ok, breakfast fine and staff is very friendly and helpful. Only little minor was that we felt the curtains of our room have parts which shine through and there is no shutter solution to solve this. Maybe this can be done through shutterdoors to the terrace? |

Excellent location, close to the centre but in a great, safe, canal side spot. The staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming, offering a personal/family approach rather than bland multi chain hotel. Good breakfast to set you up for the day. My young son and I really enjoyed our stay. Wardrobes were a bit basic |

Extremely helpful staff. Excellent breakfast ranging from toast, boiled eggs, cereal, cheese, cold meats, tomatoes, yoghurts, jucies, teas, coffees, hot choclate. Comfort, clean room and spacious enough for three adults. Close to trams/metro (buy a one day ticket 7.40 Euro) for access to all areas of city if walking everywhere is not desirable. No lift in the hotel. Difficult when you are on the third floor. My mom found it difficult to climb the stairs as one set in particular were steep. |

Wonderful location in Amsterdam, right on the Amstel and near great restaurants and cultural venues. The staff were great hosts, providing great suggestions. Rooms are simple yet elegant. |

The room was larger than average, very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options. Location was ideal within easy walking distance of the city centre but relatively quiet. |

The staff was amazing! They were the epitome of what hotel staff should be in every way. The price was fantastic! Love the fact that breakfast was included. It's a very quaint hotel on the river. There are bars, restaurants, and theatre (next door) within walking distance, however, some of the major attractions are easier accessed via public transportation which is great and reasonably priced in Amsterdam. Though the hotel is on the river, our room did not have a view. But what can you expect when you get a cheap rate. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. Some people may not like the fact that attractions such as the Van Gogh Museum and the Anne Frank House are not within close proximity. However, in my opinion, Amsterdam has extremely good public transportation. Every few blocks, there's either a tram, a bus, or the underground train. The price is reasonable. Especially if you get a 24-hour, 48-hour or 72-hour pass that allows you on all three any time within that 24-, 48-, or 72-hour period. |

Very friendly, helpful staff. Great location, quiet but close to the city, with tram stops nearby and walking distance to some nice shopping and eating places. Room was spacious, shower a good size. Room recently upgraded so all fresh and clean. No complaints. No lift but to be expected in an old building |
