Hotel Britannique  

Room #6 is the uppermost room in front, with a great view of the Vrijthof. In February, the noise from the cafes downstairs could easily be shut out by closing the window. Inside, the room was spacious, beautiful with a modern design, a great bed, and the biggest bathtub We'd ever encountered in a hotelroom.

Breakfast is not included in the price of the room, which I always find a disagreeable thing. Worse, it's the most expensive breakfast to be had amongst the ten cafes offering it on the Vrijthof. For a person like me, who doesn't need more than a coffee and a single mouthful of solid food, €13.50 is really outrageous.

It was in one word super!!! :) The room was very big, with the most comfortable bed ever! The staff is very friendly and helpfull. We came around 12.15pm and we were already allowed into our room. The location is of course also perfect, directly on the Vrijthof. Free and good working wireless internet. And everything for a reasonable price!

There are no real negative things. As a tip, I would maybe say to put the password of the wireless internet in the hotel information booklet.

We particularly liked the incredibly central location, the extremely friendly and helpful staff and the wonderful view across the square from our room window.

Staff were all very helpful and smiley. The room had been recently decorated and fitted out to a very high standard. Good location.

Not a good place for a relaxing stay - sleeping was very difficult. The large air vent from the kitchen was noisy and brought food smells straight into our room. Unfortunately even though a fan was provided the room was stiflingly hot.Would not be suitable for anyone infirm of disabled - lots of stairs to hotel itself and then even more to the rooms!

Very friendly staff; beautiful room and unique location directly at the Vrijthof.

The unique location also includes some noise on Saturday evening and early wake up by the church on Sunday morning.

Prachtige kamer. Netjes en schoon. Super locatie met geweldig vriendelijk en attent personeel. Heerlijk ontbijt. Wij komen zeker terug!

De 'bovenburen' waren erg veel aan het wandelen op de houten vloer, ook midden in de nacht. Als ze niet aan het lopen waren, werd er hard op d egang gepraat. Kortom, geen goede geluidisolatie mbt binnengeluiden.

Kiváló, központi fekvésű (a város egyik legszebb terén helyezkedik el, látnivalóktól, bevásárló központtól, állomástól is csak pár perc sétányira található), családias jellegű kis szálló, barátságos, közvetlen kiszolgálással, remek konyhával. Mindezek mellett nem elhanyagolható pluszt jelent az ingyenes wi-fi hozzáférés.

La décoration et le confort de la chambre était tout à fait agréable

Quand on arrive en voiture, il faut d'abord aller à l'hôtel demander une carte pour accéder au parking privé situé plus loin dans la rue ; or, l'hôtel lui même est difficile d'accès car situé dans une rue piétonne et en plus c'est un hôtel sans réception qui se fait dans la brasserie de l'hôtel ! pas d'ascenseur et escalier très "raide" comme il se doit au Pays-Bas. Petit-déjeuner hors de prix, le prendre dans n'importe quel autre café de la place (celui du Métropole tout proche est parfait pour le tiers du prix de celui de l'hôtel)

Uiterst vriendelijke ontvangst door wat gedurende het verblijf bleek uitstekend personeel. Zeer nette kamer: ruim en schoon, inclusief sanitair. Prima ontbijt.

Goed ontbijt, vriendelijke bediening, € 15 voor 2 dagen parkeren

De ontvangst, bediening, vriendelijkheid en kamer waren allemaal super. Jammer dat we vroeg weg moesten dus geen ontbijt konden krijgen..
