We liked the beautiful location in the woods of Wassenaar - close to both The Hague and Leiden, the cottage-style of the hotel, the good breakfast and the friendly service.

The wireless internet is not free and it didn't work properly in our room.

The hotel was in a beautiful location and ideal for our planned trip to the Keukenhoff gardens. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I don't think we have stayed in a hotel where we have been looked after so much. I would particularly like to mention how one of the reception staff brought us a news article off the internet following the Tsunami alert in Thailand as we had told her our daughter was out there on holiday. Our stay was perfect and we will definitely return in the future.

There is no food available in the evenings

We were very impressed with the hotel mamagement and staff, they made every effort to make us feel very comfortable. The chef and his staff were fantastic and the food was of a high standard. It was an ideal location as we were staying for two weeks to spend time with family in Wassenaar. The suroundings were beautiful and we were close to the bus stop if we needed to travel. All in all a lovely experience and a hotel we would higly reccommend.

Set in a beautiful and quiet wooded location but close enough to a main road to get into Den Haag reasonably easily. I enjoyed the two nights in this hotel. Probably best suited for those with their own transport. I found the price reasonable compared with other hotels in the area. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Two small points. One is that my room did not have a wardrobe but instead had hangers on hooks. As a result I had to hang trousers over the backs of chairs. It would also be nice for some food (other than breakfast) to be available, even a sandwich. Despite these comments I would use this hotel again if I was working again in the same area.

It was good having free tea and coffee facilities, a chance to try different drinks I would not normally have at home. The setting was beautiful and it was far enough away from the main road, so nice and quiet at night. It was near enough, however, to the road for good access to buses and the area is definately well served by buses. It was good to have a buffet breakfast instead of a fixed breakfast, meant that we could eat enough in the morning and not need a lunch stop. The rooms were comfortable and, although not fancy, the facilities were just right. All in all it was thoroughly enjoyable.

rooms very small,beds very small,only t.v only had 3 channel and these were dutch also signal intermittant, no plug for the wash basin,free coffee and tea were 2 floors below,furnishing and decor very tired and in need of some money being spent to improve that important first impression

L'hôtel est situé au milieu d'un bois, et fait un peu vieux manoir anglais. Le salon du rez de chaussée et le restaurant complète cette ambiance. Les chambres sont propres, mais le mobilier style "Ikéa" (surtout les armoires) dénote un peu. L'endroit est très calme à deux pas de la voie rapide qui mène à La Haye.

L'insonorisation en revanche entre les chambres est inexistante. Heureusement que les occupants des autres chambres étaient discrets, car nous entendions la douche du voisin ou de l’étage du dessus comme si nous y étions. Par ailleurs, je plains ceux qui s'y rendent sans GPS. L’hôtel est au fond d'une petite route et il n'y a aucune indication.

De sfeer is goed en hotel vriendelijk. Maar communicatie is niet optimaal. Zo hebben wij driemaal vooraf aangegeven dat we eerder wilden ontbijten. Was geen probleem, alleen op de dag zelf wist niemand is meer van de afspraak af. Jammer!

Mooi en uniek landgoed, rustige ligging, prachtige omgeving. Service van personeel was super! Prima te fietsen naar Den Haag en Scheveningen, maar ook richting Wassenaar. Prachtig duingebied. Ontbijt en avondeten wat goed.

De kamers zijn heel gehorig. je kunt de buren horen praten en als zij de TV aan hebben, kun je dat ook goed horen. Fietsenverhuur is best prijzig, € 15 per fiets per dag.

Grosse surprise à l arrivée, notre réservation n était pas notée !!!! Très moyen !!! Après un moment étrange, il nous a trouvé une chambre... Malgré ça, l hôtel est sympa, le cadre magnifique et coup de cœur pour Wassenaar.

La réservation n était pas inscrite à notre arrivée. Gros doutes puis les choses se sont arrangées mais moment très désagréable de se retrouver sans hôtel dans une ville et un pays étrangers.

Chambre spacieuse et agréable avec excellente literie. l'hôtel est charmant, jolie salle à manger.

Salle de bains vieillotte. Le chauffage dans la chambre n'était pas allumé à notre arrivée, il a fallu ouvrir nous mêmes les radiateurs. Hôtel calme mais notre chambre était située à côté du placard de ménage de l'étage et nous étions dérangés très tôt le matin. Petit déjeuner non compris dans le tarif de la chambre, ce qui est rare en Hollande.
