Situated at the watersport industrial park 't Ges, right on the Houkesloot, the waterway between the city centre of Sneek and the Sneekermeer lake, you will find a new hotel, Buitenplaats 't Ges with its restaurant and party centre facilities.
The Lageveen family has its own jetty, which makes it possible for them to hire out motor sloops or sailing boats from surrounding businesses to the hotel guests. Those who stay at the hotel should seize the opportunity to take a trip to the Chameleon book village Terherne, Langweer or that famous 'eleven towns race' city Sneek. A night out in the welcoming city centre is also a must. It is easy to fill a whole week or more with enjoyable things to do.
Those who enjoy-cycling and fishing will find Buitenplaats 't Ges an ideal spot. Because 't Ges is situated on a large waterway and has its own berthing facilities, it is an excellent choice for business and family events which depend on the use of touring boats and large sail boats.

You can rent a boat at the hotel, take the Houkesloot (river) and enter the Sneekermeer within 5 minutes. Or rent a bike and explore the relaxed agricultural surroundings of the hotel. Or just relaxed on the terrace and see all the boats coming by...
Close by the hotel, you will find a wake-boarding school and several sailing schools.

From Bolsward and Leeuwarden, follow the ring road direction Joure till the end of the ring road. From Joure, take an immedeate right at the first stop signs coming from the A7. Direction 'industie terrein Houkesloot 2', watersports area 't Ges. Take a right at the mini roundabout, into the Einsteinstraat. At the end of the Einsteinstraat, take a left, towards 'watersportgebonden terrein 't Ges'. Across the small bridge, the second road on the left. About halfway on the Zwolsmanweg you will find 'Buitenplaats T Ges'.
