Regard Berghotel Amersfoort is a 100-year old hotel, centrally located in The Netherlands and close to highway A28. This 4-star hotel offers rooms and suites. The rooms have Wi-Fi access and a suit press. The Deluxe Rooms and Suites offer more space and comfort. Regardz Berghotel has a fitness area to relax. When weather is nice you use the large sun terrace in the monumental garden. The brasserie serves mainly French and Italian dishes. The bar serves snacks and drinks. The hotel was ideal for travelling into Amsterdam by train and Amersfoort is a lovely town we really enjoyed our stay the staff were very helpful and the food was really good. i would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone and would certainly stay there again.

The lunch in the brasserie is delicious. We asked upon check-in for a "lazy Sunday" package which would allow us to stay in the room until 17:00. At 13:00, the maid walked in our room without knocking on the door. I was still in bed and luckily my husband was dressed and reading so he could assist.

We stay often in this hotel. The hotel is 20 minutes walking from downtown historic Amersfoort (if you go by car there are more then enough parking garages). Rooms and hotel are decorated very nice and there is always an interesting exhibition of fine art/paintings in the hotel.

Ease of check-in at reception, location Room under roof was freezing cold upon (late) arrival and didn't warm up. Layout of room not always practical : no mirror above sink, only small magnifying mirror 1,5 meters to the left, which is rather odd if you need to (wet) shave. Limited choice at breakfast
