Very friendly and professional staff. Nice and cosy terrace outside the brasserie. The hotel is easy accessible by car. Quite boring rooms. The garden rooms were not really facing a garden, more like a back yard. There was not really a terrace outside the room. Only a small area with a table and 2 chairs covered in pine needles.

The rooms are amazing, completely different to most hotels.outstanding!!! Hotel staff could do with being more friendly and hospitable. They didn't even say hello and welcome as we got there. The first thing that they wanted was our credit card !!!

Nice food - Due to the road works, the hotel was very difficult to reach and the indications were very poorly - the matrasses were of a bad quality --> back pain

Nice rooms, good value for money. Almost next door to Grolsch Veste and train station. Good dining facilities Hotel is situated in industrial zone; not an area that invites for an after dinner walk

Big rooms and conveniently located near Driener metro station The room was cold, I had to turn on the heaters and still it took a while to warm up. 3 stars is a proper rating for this hotel, I chose it only because it was next to the company I had to visit.

we booked twin rooms but were unaware that some were split level. As this was not suitable we were soon moved to a more suitable room. unable to contect to the internet on my laptop and if you need to use it for more than an hour you were charged. we had taken my son to meet a friend and this would have a useful tool to make arangements.

Narrow stairwell to bedroom and having to climb down stairs for WC. No room foodservice - that is, I was told that I could come down to the restaurant and order and then take it to my room. No menu in room.

The restaurant and the food choice were exceptionally good. Spiders as we had a garden room and there were many spiders.

Friendly staff, large and quiet room, good shower, large beds, possibility to iron, enough hangers in the wardrobe, comfortable bathroom with bath _and_ separate shower, close to railway station (walking distance). Could sleep well with windows open, undisturbed by, e.g., a noisy air conditioning (as many other hotels have). Very pleasant. Very kind and helpful lady at reception desk in the evening. Soap dispenser (although unnecessary) was empty. Breakfast not included. Hotel hard to reach on foot as (1) no signs directing to hotel or entrance and (2) road is under construction with access road closed, bicycle track closed and pedestrian walk closed. Had to cross piles of sand and a ditch each time to access the hotel. Access for pedestrians should be improved.

The hotel is great. Rooms were superb and the staff excellent. The hotel was a little bit far out of town but not a real problem. Bistro meals are very expensive.

The hotel was about 5 mimites walk to the train station and bus stops were also very near. The room was perfect and the breakfast was excellent. The architecture of the hotel was representative of the country side of Holland. It was one the best hotels I ever stayed in

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the opportunity to rent a bike and the cosy and spacious rooms. The hotel is very close to public transportation, to get to Enschede and Hengelo is very easy. Internet is a bit expensive if you need to work/ use it frequently.

The atmosphere of the hotel and cordiality of the staff were very pleasant. The stairs in the room have very narrow step with is dangerous at night to go in the bathroom or to use the mini bar down stairs.

My second time at this unique hotel, two storey rooms with bedroom on floor above a sitting room. Ideal stop-off location for travelling around East Netherlands/West Germany. Rail station close by with regular trains into the centre of Enschede. Walking distance to the Twente fc Stadion. Friendly staff. The outside balcony/sitting area needed a good cleaning. The tables and chairs would have been ideal to use if they were cleaner.

Located almost next to the University of Twente, the hotel is extremely convenient for visitors to the site. With an excellent restaurant, comfortable rooms, it is well worth considering if you're visiting Enschede, although some distance from the city centre

Lovely location, the two tiered room had a nice feel to it almost like you had a holiday cottage rather than just a hotel room, breakfast was plentiful and fresh, staff were attentive and polite, during the roadworks it was a bit tricky finding the hotel as the fly over has been removed, but all in all good location, bus stop number 9 into city centre just outside hotel and the lovely woodland area on the otherside of the road, would use again if in the area

Very good and freindly hotel staff, the breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. The hotel was very easy to get to and from and very near to Enschede for which we wanted. The room we had ,did have very steep stairs to the bedroom for which we are not use too, also a couple of more comfortable chairs to sit in would have been better downstairs.

Comfortable rooms and beds and the peaceful atmosphere. Although 5 kilometres from the Centre of Enschede it is an easy walk to town or you can use the bus service which is very frequent and runs till quite late.

The servie and food available was of an unexpectedly high quality. The inclusive breakfast could not have been better with fresh quality produce and an unlimited supply. We made use of the marraige suite and had 5 other rooms for guests. It was perfect and lovely and relaxed sitting outside enjoying a drink The only slight hiccup was that two of us were initially charged more than the agreed price. It seems a misunderstanding when altering the number of rooms/days occured. This situation was realt with by staff on duty and we were refunded the difference.
