The location (just between Enschedé and Hengelo) is excellent when you want to be able to park your car easily and free of charge while being close to Hengelo and Enschedé. We wanted to visit Hengelo and had some business in Rheine, Germany, the next day, which was also easily reached from here.

The first room we were offered was a two-level one with a steep stairway; a very small living-room downstairs, with very bad light, and a bedroom upstairs. This made me think of a youth-hostel. We asked for an other room. That was much better at first sight. However, that room had a horrible whistling sound, due to a dirty ventilation system. When I complained about this the next morning, reception staff appeared to know about this. That made me really angry. Also, the (very old- fashioned) lampshades were full of dust.

The carpet in the room had stains. Also, it could be cheaper I guess.

Ruime schone kamer, twee verdiepingen, balkon. Ruime badkamer, bad en douche. Zeer goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Onhandige verlichting in de kamer. Ik hoorde 's nachts een halfuur lang gepiep; weet niet waar het vandaag kwam. Om de tv aan te zetten moet je door allerlei menu's klikken.

The hotel was great. The location was fantastic, the staff was so welcoming and friendly, the food was great and the room was quite spacious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area whether for work or pleasure.

This is a very nice hotel and our room was very comfortable. There is a reasonable restaurant which is essential as the hotel is in a rural location.

Our bed was upstairs(extremely comfortable,the best on a 3week trip) and bathroom was down below so a bit tricky in the night! I didn't like being asked for a credit card as soon as we arrived. This didn't happen in any of the hotels we stayed in in Belgium,Germany,Switzerland and Italy. All were booked through booking.com and a credit card number was provided at time of booking. Fifty euros over the cost of the room was deducted from the card(a prepaid mastercard) and we were not informed of this at any time and given a bill for the amount we expected. I discovered that the extra fifty had been deducted when I checked my balance. It was refunded but I do not think that should have been done. I did get wifi for an hour and wasn't charged but free wifi is essential nowadays.

One of the best hotel in Enschede, and close to University of Twente for those who send their kids to university for the first time. Bus stop at hotel to city centre

It is very preety and the rooms are quite comfortable and beautiful. The breakfast was good and the check in and check out were done very swiftly.

There was a bathrobe that you could us but one of them was left dirty inside the closet. The rooms show a little of lack of attention but mainly is a nice hotel and clean.

Our room was brilliant- on the second floor with a sitting room and bathroom on one level with a staircase up to the beds in another room upstairs (television in both!). Lovely and spacious, airy, clean,,, AND there was a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Staff were very helpful and unobtrusive - flexible too. Loved the breakfasts. Felt very relaxed and easy to be there. [We got a very reasonable rate - couldn't believe how good!] While it's located out from the centre, it's only just over five minutes to Enscehde Drienerlo rail station (from there it takes four minutes to Enchede central and there's a frequent service); and the bus stop for number 9 bus to and from the centre (10 minute journey) is located right outside the hotel - again frequent service.

The staff are friendly, and the breakfast is very good. The hotel has a nice style.

Internet is way overpriced, for this category of hotel must be included on the rate of the room.

Charming atmosphere and very comfortable parking facilities.

Housekeeping services was rather odd. They did not take the room service tray for example. And on the day of check out, tried to clean my room at 9 instead of waiting until I check out.

The hotel was made easier to find, by car, by the route description given to us online, & our welcome was friendly, assured and competent. Room was v comfortable/luxorious & the meal we had - me as a vegetarian who has suffered the inadequacies of restaurant cooking for decades - was very good indeed, with the young waiter doing an attention, professional job. We'd go again as we pass from Germany into Holland.

Er was een loeihard festival in het park aan de overzijde, goed dat ik oordopjes bij had!!! Tip: ontbijtdame snel ontslaan, heeft geen enkel nuttige functie!

De ontvangst prima. Officieel was onze kamer nog niet beschikbaar om 11.30 uur, maar er was een andere kamer beschikbaar die wij kregen, zodat wij onze koffer en spullen alvast kwijt konnden.

We hadden een zgn "dubbele "kamer met het slaapgedeelte onder het dak. Het was erg warm in de kamer. Op onze vraag of we ipv de dekbedden fleecedekentjes konden krijgen was het antwoord negatief, want die waren er niet. Wellicht een tip om die aan te schaffen.

Alles was naar wens. De gastronomie verdient een pluim. De wijnen waren van een uitzonderrlijke kwaliteit.

Dat men niet altijd de druivensoort kende ,als die niet op de fles vermeld stond.

Het eten in het restaurant en het ontbijt waren goed. Jonge, plezierige bediening.

Matrassen te zacht en kussens te springerig. Mijn vrouw heeft een slechte nacht gehad.

Overzichtelijk no-nonsense hotel met vriendelijk personeel en uitstekende keuken in de bistro.

Kamerverlichting is te beperkt indien men stukken wil lezen. ook zou een mini-bar niet misstaan!kan
